And this is just a pitiful beginning. Hyperinflation awaits the USA.
If we compare the modern USA with a historical example, then the most suitable for comparison would be the late USSR. (Approximately 1986-1989).
There are a lot of similarities.
In both cases, the idiot rules the country.
In both cases, withdrawal from Afghanistan. (Only we must admit that the Soviet troops left proudly and the government of the Soviet protégé of Najibula held out for three years after the USSR left Afghanistan. How the United States fled, you all saw in the frames of the refugees hanging on the landing gear of the aircraft.)
In both cases, high and accelerating inflation.
In both cases, the fall in the REAL economy.
In both cases, an increase in poverty and an increase in protest moods in society.
In both cases, the division of society according to political preferences. ....
In general, the similarity is so great that it is amazing.
You all know how graduated from the USSR.
About what awaits the United States, I think you can guess.

It wasn't predictable by the left. By the way this is only "transitory" LOL. Apparently not even Biden is believing that anymore.

The president is responsible for everything. Today is President Biden.
Just like Gorbachev is responsible for the collapse of the USSR.

Whatever. Actually, the supply of gas has nothing to do with a POTUS unless he or she started some kind of war or forced something to happen via policy. Biden has done nothing to affect the price of gas and everyone knows it. The rest is just politics.

There are many on the Left who deny that printing lots of money will cause inflation, or that inflation is a bad thing, or really care about inflation.
All they have in their sights are more "free" things, and they don't care how they get it.

You obviously fail to grasp how the American government - or basic market economics - works. Never having lived in a stable country with a guaranteed peaceful transfer of executive power every four to eight years could account for that, I guess...

Yes, Gorbachev can be credited for bringing down the communist tyranny. It took years of hard work, but in the end he succeeded.

I don't know about "many on the left", but last year we printed more than ever, and handed it out like candy. Around Aug last year, the Fed said there will be inflation in 2021, and here we are. However, they did not predict economy being this hot, and a hot economy increases demand, which pushes up prices because supply cannot meet demand. The Fed could cool the economy by raising rates, which is probably what they will do.

Because if you throw enough mud on the wall, some will stick and many don't comprehend economics or care to comprehend it..

Biden and Democrat politicians as well as DC hacks are what they've always been

It's the Democrat voters who empowered them and brought about this disaster

If you ask a Russian about Gorbachev, 95 percent of Russians will tell you that they are ready to tear Gorbachev apart. He is fiercely hated in Russia.
Do you think Russians know better than you about the advantages of socialism?

Russian people are communists, even thought Russia is not currently communist. Only 17 percent of Russians think the fall of communism was a good thing, which probably means Russia will become communist again.

They should know first hand about the misery of USSR, but amazingly they do not. Maybe the cirrhosis of the liver had killed off the older generation and the younger people don't know better.

More oil lower prices, less oil higher prices. Let's shut down some more pipelines.
