Let's assume the pole was true so we have 30% of roughly 60 million Americans.

You're with me? That's at least 20 million Americans.

Now of this 30% that supposedly feel this way I would assume we should safely be able to assume that we should see at least 5% resorting to actual violence.

So should I believe a pole that has an obvious agenda or should I believe the reality that I observe in the world around me?

Certain types of adverse reactions can have trouble actually showing up in the statistics, for reasons that I will not elaborate on here. The explanation would be a little bit complicated.

That 30% needs to take a breath and step back. There is no way that the disquiet of the 20teens compares to the social and political upheavals of the 1960s, and we came out of that OK. Not only OK but in many ways better and stronger than ever, and there is no reason to believe that we won't emerge from the present flapdoodle strengthened and intact!

 

Even as a supporter of BLM, I sadly find this statement true. The desire to be more woke than the other progressives around them has driven some into being offended at the most insignificant of matters. I am saddened that they don't realise the damage they are doing to their own cause.

Consider the Kyle Rittenhouse. The CNN spin on his trial is that the kid had no business in the middle of the "demonstration" (riot) or being there with a weapon. The last guy Rittenhouse shot had a gun he pointed at the kid and nobody asks what that guy was there with a gun, or even why anyone was protesting in the middle of a pandemic. Apparently, if you're pissed off because of how you're treated by society, you have the right to "protest" by breaking the law.

CNN has a narrative that keeps their viewers happy. Fox News has another narrative that keeps their audience happy.

How many "jabs" have you seen in news coverage about covid vaccinations? Does it bother the news media that showing so many "jabs" makes some people uneasy and perhaps less likely to get vaccinated?

 

Yes, the Dems are not left enough for them. They also don't like moderate/conservative Dems like Manchin and Gabbard, but in the end of the say the people will vote in the primaries, and we shall see who they support. I doubt it will be the far left.

We don't know what the FBI is doing, but we do know Joe has done the least amount of criticizing of Antifa lawbreaking he could and still register as opposing violent protest. (Trump did the same thing by offering limited criticism of white supremacists.)
