30 Percent of Republicans Say True Americans May Have to Resort to Violence to Save U.S.

There are a few posters here who will demand proof of xy and z, but when you post your data, will not look at it. They will say they want a debate, but won't discuss anything. They just make broad statements, but usually have no data to back it up and don't have any interest in any data that conflicts with their per-concieved ideas. "bluesguy" and "sec" have both done this multiple times lately, and seem to be doing it to others.
My advice would be to not waste too much time on someone who is disingenuous about actually having a debate.

I don’t know exactly what you’re talking about, but it is not I who is being disingenuous in the discussion, it was Nemesis. Even as I explained that a textbook definition of CRT so narrowly defined as to exclude anything other than an academic discussion was not at the heart of parents’ anger at racial oppressors and oppressed racial warfare being taught in school, he tries to drag me into an endless nitpicking discussion. His insistence on an academic definition is irrelevant to the issue. I’m very willing to have a discussion on realities, but I won’t play his childish game, nor that of anyone else, who just wants to wrestle in the mud.

I wasn't necessarily talking about you in that post as I can't remember any exchanges with you, just sort of in general as there are some here who will demand some type of proof, or say they want a discussion, but don't really want to have an exchange of ideas, they just want to repeatedly blast you with their talking points and/or opinions. Sorry if it sounded like I was singling you out, which I didn't intend on. I try to stay out of the middle of most of the "arguments" on here, but sometimes succumb to the pressure of responding to posts that are misleading or outright falsehoods.

I really don’t care about the political leanings of teachers as long as they aren’t effecting the teaching materials and classroom conduct. When I was in school, admittedly a very long time ago, I had teachers who had strong political beliefs but kept them out of their classrooms. How did I know their political leanings? I went to school in a small rural town where people knew everything about everyone. University in a big city was different, but I still didn’t feel we were being pressured by political propaganda.

 

We're unlikely to have a sane political dialogue in this country if we keep tossing around BS about Marxism, fascism, etc.

 

I always made a point of telling students I believed the important political opinion was theirs and that I wanted for them what I wanted for myself--the right to decide matters as a citizen in a free society.

 

We already have a national ID of sorts in the Social Security card except that it isn't secure.

I don't believe the burden of evidence should be on me to prove they are unsafe, considering they are not exactly the obvious necessary life-saver your side imagines them to be.
There are several indications that they may be less safe than other vaccines. Other vaccines which, in reality, are far more effective than this one.

By the way, I've never been in favor of forced vaccines for the entire population. But trying to coerce this one on people is just all the worse.
Let's be clear, what we're talking about is not whether YOU personally should decide to take this. The burden of proof is going to have to be a lot greater if you're talking about pushing this on others in the way that has been attempted.
