There isn't a thinking person, I know of who should be surprised. Folks actively hunting you down and attacking you are the very definition of a credible threat. Thugs, criminals in the streets actively assaulting you do NOT enjoy the right to kill you no matter how much democrats cry about it. These are the teaching moments of our time. In this country, you have the right to protest. You don't have the right to burn things down, suppress others views or prevent counter protest. You have the right to protect your property and your safety even with deadly force. Guns, hammers, bats, or otherwise. Good. This trial makes the case that if you fear for your life, you have the right to protect yourself. Nothing else matters... where you from, what you are doing, etc. The pieces of **** looters and rioters in our country better take note. More and more people are obtaining guns, and they are justified. The left does not get to defund police, ignore cities burning around them, and deny people this basic right for personal protection. Me too. It's a shame there's no "Juror Protection Program"....they did their civic duty as American citizens, weighed the evidence laid before them, deliberated on it, and delivered the verdict they deemed proper and just...NOW they can spend the next few years looking over their shoulders in fear for themselves and families from the nut-jobs this country seems to breed like flies.

When you need a "juror protection program," the court and legal system as you've known it has about run it's course. You can't have a fair trials if jurors are open season by fanatics.
So basically none of the major and minor charges applied or it would be a hung jury. As many lawyers have said this is one of the clearest cases of self defense they have ever seen.
