Something to keep in mind as Kyle's defenders try to rationalize his defense.

And just because you shouldn't do something doesn't mean that you don't need to do it. Doesn't matter if it was his property or not. He was there to help against rioters destroying property and help medically. And yes, he had some medical training. Was he fully trained? No. But he did have some training which he was willing to use to help. Remember, he worked as a lifeguard and was working at a fire station. Both requires some medical training and they offer training for it.

BTW, I thought it was a no no to blame the victim? His trial did prove that he was a victim. Is it because you view him as being from the Right that you don't apply that standard? Is it because he was carrying a gun? Tell me, where is the condemnation for those that were rioting? Or for the ones that attacked him?

Only in your mind is any of this true. Reality on the other hand doesn't care what your mind thinks.

Actually you know what. It doesn't matter. He was there. He had a Right to be there. He had a Right to carry that AR15. He was not the one that instigated the attacks. Those are the facts. It doesn't matter whether you think he should have been there or not. It doesn't matter whether you think it was wrong. Kyle had a Right to be there. And he had a Right to NOT be attacked. Kyle is not the one at fault here. Period. Anything else is just spin based on politics.

Yep, he was a victim, that doesn't make his showing up at the scene any less stupid, why was he attacked?

Excuse me? Since when does a person not have a Right to not be attacked? GL trying to explain away such an absurd comment.

you’re saying a crowd of people had the right to attack another American? And why is that?

He didn’t have a right to not be attacked? Your opinion is dangerous supporting criminal rioters. People like this agree with rioters that the rule of law does not matter.

Can you give the cops a list of the people who don’t have the right to safety? May I ask how you’ve randomly decided who has rights to live and who doesn’t?

Thinking you have a right to not be attacked at a riot is like entering a burning building and thinking you have a right to not get burned.

So if I walk up to you and deck you, you could sue me for violating your civil right to not be attacked. Please post a case where that has happened.

Can you see how people trying to subdue a shooter with an AR-15 who had just killed someone could be viewed as doing a heroic thing?
