    People have a right to protest. The police and NG was there for the riotter and the looter, not the people protesting peacefully, which was the vast majority of them.

    Just saw this:

    Waukesha Police Chief Dan Thompson said it is believed that Brooks, 39, acted alone and is the "lone suspect" in the incident.

    He said that Brooks was involved in a domestic disturbance just prior to driving his SUV through the parade Sunday afternoon.

    Police also stressed there was no police pursuit leading up to the incident.

    What knife fight/stabbing?? It needs to be identified and specified before I will even entertain the thought. I don't care for vague generalizations or tall tales. The "person of interest" has been identified as Darrell E Brooks Jr, who is a 39 year old black male. This is known and verified information.

    No, it's not "may have a significant criminal history". Darrell Brooks DEFINITELY has a significant (lengthy) criminal history. This is also known and verified information.

    What exactly have I done? Pointed out this was a terrible act and commented (with what I thought was incredibly obvious sarcasm) that the driver could plead self defense... I gotta remember to add the /s for my stuff going forward...

    Obviously, this guy is screwed 17 ways from Sunday, but as the reports are this wasn't intentional or a political statement in any way, we just have to wait to see what the charges are... I'm guessing vehicular homicide...the rest is RW fluffing from the usual suspects... that I can handle 24x7...

    And while I'm on here explaining that, the OP, who made the first inference that this was a political statement skates off into the sunset..

    I'm curious what ever lead you to doubt the claims of her being a Dem official. Was that just wishful thinking on your part? Or did someone put out a denial that you read somewhere?

    Darrell Brooks, the man taken into custody over the #Waukesha Christmas parade mass casualty incident, is a registered sex offender in Nevada. He was convicted over having sex w/a child. In one of his now-deleted videos, he defended his actions, saying he was pimping the "hoe."
