Personally I don't think this had anything to do with terrorism. I think he was reved up in flight fight mode after a domestic situation. I some areas of the parade he did veer away from parade participants and drove on the side of them.

 

Had the shoe been on the other foot, and a white guy ran through a crowd of black people, media outlets like CNN would instantly have gone for the race angle, even before any information was known, and the guy's face would be plastered everywhere. But what does CNN currently have on this story? They are still reporting only that there is a suspect in custody and they give his name. No picture, no mention of race...
