This attempt to try to play this off as unintentional / just an accident is easily the dumbest thing that has been posted in this thread (and there are some other real doozies here).

 

I have no clue what he intentionally did or did not do.
I can only go by what the Waukesha Police report to the public.

Wisconsin officials will seek to charge a driver who ploughed into a Christmas parade on Sunday with five counts of intentional homicide.

Police said Darrell Edward Brooks Jr, 39, killed five people, aged between 52 and 81, and injured 48 others, including young children, in Waukesha.

Mr Brooks was fleeing a domestic disturbance when he mowed into the crowd, they said.

They added he could face further charges based upon their investigation.

Waukesha police also said the incident was not an act of terrorism.

Yep, looks like he was fleeing from his domestic abuse crime, not deliberately targeting white people for racially-motivated homicide:

 

The charge will be 5 counts of intentional homicide, since he has every opportunity to stop, but hit the gas instead. It does not look like he went there specifically to kill people, which would bring 1st degree murder charges and possibly domestic terrorism. The people he injured will probably bring attempted murder charges. He is done. There is no doubt about it.

just saw on cnn that the charge he was released earlier this month for $1000 was for running a person over

 

He should be charged for attempted homicide/manslaughter for all of the other victims. One count for each.

they usually do not charge all, so they can try again if failed in court, even Andrea Yates was not charged for killing all her children, only 3

 

The "news" are active participants in this left-wing effort to excuse / minimize his crime with this "fleeing" garbage.

 

Totally get it on a practical level. I'm just more "normative" about these things than practical. Just part of the reason I'm not a lawyer.

 

It is an integrated & interwoven part of the culture. It affects every aspect of life. Anger and hate are pronounced ..........making this county less than safe.. Throw politics into the mix and one has a pretty explosive situation. To that with the number of weapons around........... and you get the picture.
