They would certainly be among the group, but I don't think I would limit to that label. But yes, as long as there are those types shoving their version of Christianity into others' faces, there will be among those others who will shove back. And just like not even a majority of us Christians are doing that shoving, it is not even a majority of LBGT are shoving their practices and such in Christians' faces.

The golden rule applies to a certain kind of judging - as in has an actual "Judge" and punishment attached to the judgement. There is no lie posted. I was responding to one who implies God created mankind with a propensity to sexually assault young children. That is a lie. Believers know that from the very beginning, God created humans to be sovereign over their "choice".. Mankind has taken that gift, from the very beginning and used that choice, to "blame God". This why some on this thread say that God created beings to sexually assault little children and to glorify and partake in deviant sexual practices (homosexuality). This is the "blame God tactic" that has been used from the very beginning. It is human nature to run from responsibility but running does not work. You, dairyair, have run from that responsibility that has been displayed in your posts for years, as you delight in augmenting the notion, God created them that way so we must embrace and accept those behaviors. There is no lie on my behalf or no lost argument. You just view the world from a very different lens.....one which I find to be un Godly!

No, my reply was to another poster, Marquiscat. Sure I would agree that laws should not be broken. However, somethings that are legal are not edifying.

 

So you protest that others are "shoving" or rather proclaiming their version of Christianity. Isn't that what Jesus commanded us to spread the Gospel? Or are you one of those that say it is a private thing that should be kept to oneself? I personally only share when engaged. I know others may be more overt. However, to keep it to oneself displays a lack of belief. Either that or there are parts of it that one finds offensive.

 

Actually neither. I am only pointing out that Christians who do spread about their faith and beliefs cannot complain when others do the same. It's hypocritical. IOW, if you (generalized) are shoving your beliefs and behavior to and onto others, don't whine when others do the same.
