Gasoline production facilities need untreated gas to become gas. The Biden Administration has effectively shut down untreated gas facilities in America.

You've been played, and it doesn't take much because you actually want to believe the propaganda.

You've been played if you think the Biden Administration doesn't want to eliminate the use of gasoline for energy purposes. You've also been played if you think too much CO2 in the atmosphere causes imminent climate change catastrophe. Furthermore, you've been played if you think alternative energy to gas is sufficient to power the power grid and our vehicles any time soon.

we live in the here and now and inflation is like we've not seen for some time and Democrat policies throw fuel onto the fire.

You can't defend this but you try. Why do you bother trying to defend a vote that helped create this mess? An adult thing to do would be to admit the mistake and even say that you were misled by the media sources to which you listen.

We see the results again of giving full control to Democrats; it's never positive and always harmful to the common folk

Democrat votes caused this. Let's see if Americans get wise in 2022

I can fully defend every policy/bill the Biden administration has created (if needed), with the exception of the AF withdrawal, which was bungled at the very start, but saved at the end...

Even the "common folk" isn't going to refute seeing good things coming their way in 2022 with BIF, potentially a lot more with whatever the BBB ends up looking like.

They'll compare that to election deniers, fascist tendencies, and unwillingness\incapability to govern... I expect another reasonably close EC count and another PV crushing...especially if Sec Yellen is correct....

It will be changed in the Senate and sent back to the House where the progressives will not like it and will not vote for it.

Biden struck a deal with enough progressives in the house to get the first infrastructure bill passed. Realize, for example, AOC isn't the leader of progressives in the house anymore.

It's called damage control! They will insist that things are getting better while the poor go hungry and make hard choices to buy food or medications, seen it before and it's no different this time ;)

Aside from all the ridiculous hyperbole, fuel prices would be the same as they were last year and the year before.. And we certainly wouldn't have a moronic President bullshiting his supporters with stupid nonsense like 50 million barrels from reserves will make everything better! Only someone as stupid as Biden would not know how to look up the U.S. daily consumption of petroleum and how 50 million would last the U.S. three days at best LMFAO..

The DNC have their base right where they want :)

AOC is very vocal which is why she gets lots of attention but as a junior congresswoman she never was the leader. Biden promised to deliver a bill that would satisfy progressives. They won't like the Senate's revised version, that's is if the Senate even puts it up for a vote.

Correct.... happy a human is in charge and actually attempting to address a problem... neat, huh?

But fuel prices might actually be the same as 2020, because maybe 40% of the country would be fully vaccinated by now, and everybody still reluctant to travel... is that where you'd like to be? Because that's where we would be (since you seem to be in the hypothetical mode) with the former President bullshiting his supporters with stupid nonsense like COVID will disappear like a miracle...

LMAO, clearly you don't know or are so committed to the guy that the realty of tapping 50 million barrels is somehow going to have any sort of noticeable impact what so ever in a country using 20+ million a day :)

Fight the erg to formulate an idea using the DNC implanted arithmatricks and tally how many days 50 million barrels buys the U.S.

I don't think anybody thinks 50M barrels is going to solve the problem... It's a token move to show the administration is paying attention to the problem, something we certainly didn't have from 2017-2021 (unless it was a PERSONAL political winner)...

Also, not that it's due to the release, but the Average price of regular in the US has come down 2 cents over the past week, while it's come down over 3 cents over the past month in my state.

    https://gasprices.aaa.com/

If it turns out mid-Nov was the high point for gas as predicted, this will end up being a minor inconvenience and yet another conservative over-reaction to a temporary problem....that must be tiring...

There were a select few progressive members of the house who used to have lots of pull (AOC was one such member) in the progressive caucus of the house before the 1ST infrastructure bill was passed but now their influence is minimized because of the compromise of enough house progressives to pass the 1ST infrastructure bill.

Which “bloated spending” ? The $1.3 Trillion the dems spent, or the $7 Trillion Trump spent ?

The CPC currently lists 94 members.... I'm not sure how you can think something of that size will be minimized. If they didn't mostly support the 1ST infrastructure bill (and they all supported it, as a first step), it wasn't going to be passed.

Also, did you know AOC is not on the leadership team of the CPC?? She's the #1 boogeyman of the right (depending on the day and topic), and she has a platform (and uses it well), but she's not leading from the front...

You don't, well the MSNBCNN clearly think their viewing monkeys do ;) As for the 3cents, you lemme know when President Puddin shaves a buck and a quarter of the current price..

Seriously bro, you need to raise the bar a little LMFAO :)

Actually, depending on your definition of "going into the Holiday Season", it's possible we reached the peak gas price of this current pass a few weeks ago... it's come down (very slightly) 2 weeks in a row..

Fingers crossed.... then conservatives can get back to focusing on the important issues...like Big Bird...

I laugh every time you post on this subject :) Do you even follow the news?

Enough progressive votes were changed to pass the 1st infrastructure bill one week after Pelosi refused to bring the bill up for vote 'cause there wasn't enough support to pass it. The 13 house GOPs who voted for the bill always thought the 1st infrastructure bill was a fine compromise. Progressive house leadership has always been solidly against the 1st infrastructure bill 'cause the first bill didn't include Build Back Better.
