Mossad recruited a team of Iranian nuclear scientists to carry out a covert operation which blew up one of the regime’s most secure nuclear facilities earlier this year, the JC can reveal. Up to 10 scientists were approached by Israeli agents and agreed to destroy the underground A1000 centrifuge hall at Natanz in April, though they believed that they were working for international dissident groups.

Some of the explosives they used were dropped into the compound by a drone and quietly collected by the scientists, while others were smuggled into the high security facility hidden in boxes of food on a catering lorry. The ensuing destruction caused chaos in the highest echelons of the Iranian leadership. It demolished 90 per cent of the centrifuges at the nuclear plant, delaying progress towards a bomb and putting the key complex out of action for up to nine months.

I remember all of the destruction months back. Iran said it was due to a heatwave and old machinery.

    Brandon is gonna be pissed.

Everyone with a clue knows how much a failure the Israeli attempts at supposedly 'delaying' Iran's nuclear program have been. The sabotage at Natanz simply gave Iran the needed excuse to replace the old model centrifuges with much better, faster, and more efficient models, which quickly ramped up Iran's enrichment progress and activities. Within a few weeks of the incident, Iran had enriched uranium to 60% purity and currently has enough of a stockpile again be able to have the fissile material for a bomb within a couple of weeks or a month at most. These are all facts, verified and verifiable by the IAEA and even the Israelis.

Instead of reading spy thrillers from the Jerusalem Post, I recommend an article from the Times of Israel which (given its source) is actually surprisingly devoid of the usual lies, falsehoods, misleading tales, and delusional claims that make their way into the Western media through Israeli media outlets and sources. What this article/interview says, and what everyone except those Israelis (and American neocons) who imagine that by continuing on the path of the same failed policies they will somehow get a better result, is what you should be reading instead.

I don't care which country in the Middle East has nukes as long as they use them to continue slaughtering each other to the last man like they've been doing for thousands of years now...

Agnostic. I think that EVERY religion is equally retarded. With the exceptions of disease and natural causes, more people have been killed in the name of religion than any other cause. Every religion on this planet boils down to the same thing. My dad can beat up your dad. I'm right, you're wrong. And they will gladly go to war over it. They will kill each other over something that can't be proven and a God that no one has ever seen. That is pure, Grade A retardation. You don't see scientists wading into a crowd of people, shouting "SCIENCE!!!", then detonating a bomb...

I used to be agnostic until I came up with my own religion:)

Anyway, most Americans don't realize how much the continuous lies, spin and propaganda that is the cornerstone of Israeli and pro Israeli politicians and media have corrupted their own politics. Even the OP here ends with an absurd and unnecessary lie. Not content to repeat the propaganda tales about how a sabotage that supposedly delayed Iran's nuclear program by 9 months somehow saw Iran produce 60% enriched uranium within days of this incident and see Iran now have enough of a stockpile for a bomb in less than a month (when it was much further behind when the incident happened), the poster has to put his own falsehood in the mix saying:
Nonsense. Iran blamed the US/Israel almost immediately and while its then government didn't carry out the promise to retaliate against Israel, arguing that Iran shouldn't play into Israel's hands by retaliating in a way that would start a war that would then do what Israel has been trying to do for years, namely get the US into war with Iran, the attempt to claim "Iran" blamed the incident on anything but nuclear terrorism and sabotage is one of countless examples of lies that are easily told and without any consequence for politicians, pundits and posters who have fallen for the game of throwing out outrageous falsehoods and lies to peddle their cause.

Iran vows revenge for 'Israeli' attack on Natanz nuclear site

Here is the thing: I wouldn't be far less peeved if the US/Israel simply stuck to facts, without lies and spin, and claimed they want to take out Iran because they see it as a challenge to their hegemony in the region and beyond. But the whole, almost nauseating, attempts to spin tales about everything related to Iran, the constant lies, and the unbelievable lack of awareness from Americans about what is actually happening to their own politics because of those who need to push these lies through politicians and pundits who are willing to repeat them, makes it all things that go against my own personal religion. One where (as in Iran's old Zoroastrian creed), in the battle between truth and falsehood, truth is the value that I want to see prevail.

I am not an advocate or member of any organized religion or cult either. But I certainly do not wish mass extermination of the people of Iran, Iraq, Israel or any other country. I know many people from all of those places and they are mostly great, intelligent and compassionate people. Most citizens of all of those countries are victims of greedy a$$holes from the UK and Texas who have been politically and militarily terrorizing them for over half a century in order to protect their oil interests. Now they are under control of religious nuts or greedy scumbag foreigners. Iranians and Iraqis were advanced civilizations while Northern Europeans were walking around on their knuckles and beating each other with clubs. To suggest that these people are subhuman and need to be exterminated is really an ignorant and hateful position to take. You might want to rethink your world view and tap into your spiritual side. Somewhere inside of each of us, we know what is right and wrong. Your bitterness and hatred is getting the best of you sir.

I think that remote controlled machine gun assassination was pretty slick last year or so.

    Do you think that happened?

Also, I thought it was slick when Israel released those photos of an F35 over Iran.

    Do you think that happened?

You are too much into lies, spin, and propaganda and I really don't care for it. I consider it a waste of time. I will give the facts on what your deluded imagines and be done with you.
It was Iran that first claimed this is how Israel had carried out the assassination, only to be ridiculed before it was later confirmed.
No, no such thing happened. Just a propaganda piece which started from an anti-Iran Arab propaganda outfit. The kind you seem to enjoy reading. I could explain to you why it couldn't be true, but it would be a waste of tme.

    So didn't happen right?

...Earlier this month, reports in the same Kuwaiti newspaper said that Iran's military leadership panicked enough over the purported stealth mission that it kept news of it from reaching Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.

But when Khamenei found out about the mission, he reportedly moved to fire not only Iran's air force chief but also the long-serving and powerful commander of Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps. That's major impact without even firing a shot.

    https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.cn...nd-changed-everything-in-the-middle-east.html

So being civil here, explain yourself. And for the record I never accused you of being for lies and spin but you did to me.

    Make your case.

The Kuwaiti paper has as much credibility as the media outlets you like to listen to for your take on events. None. I am not even interested in discussing such absurd nonsense as that "report" from an outlet who has never posted anything worth reading.

In the meantime, before I accept you have an interest in an honest discussion, and in any interest in the truth, first explain: a) why you felt you needed to say, when it is absolutely untrue:
    b) where did you even get this from? The same "Kuwaiti paper"? We are talking about a propaganda outlet used to pass disinformation on Iran, specially the kind of disinformation that is even too incredible and outrageous for the usual propaganda outfits to peddle directly.

I don't think I've ever cited a Kuwaiti media outlet.

Also why does the source matter if it can substantiate its self?

I think it may have been the al gore owned site.

Did an F35 fly over Iran or not?

You didn't answer the question I asked you.

Anyway, I would find it almost impossible to be true. The report strains credulity in more ways than one. The f-35 would need to refuel to make it to Iran and for a variety of reasons (flight path, air refueling etc) any such thing would have been picked up by more than just Iran.

But instead of rejoicing in rather implausible reports from outrageously incredible sources, why not focus on the facts that can be easily established. For instance, the efficacy of Israel's attempts to sabotage Iran's nuclear program. That is not something we need to speculate about as Iran's nuclear program is subject to regular inspections. And whatever Iran may be hiding, what it has shown is itself clear and indisputable when it comes to reaching a conclusion about how ineffective Israel has been.

Also, instead of imaginary f-35 flights over Iran, why not look into Iranian UAVs which have flown over Israel to deliver munitions and supplies to Hamas in Gaza among other destinations. The Israelis have shot down 2 of them, even if they took a long time acknowledging that the UAVs were transporting supplies, but how do you know how many have actually made their trips successfully? After all, Gaza is under a strict blockade, its tunnels have been destroyed by the Egyptians as well, yet it did have a few rockets to fire at Israel in their recent war!

On Iranian drones, here is the US commander of Centcom talking about for the first time since the Korean war, the US faces a situation where it doesn't enjoy air superiority.

    You didn't answer me.

Besides the fact that Israel has found ways to enhance range and stealth beyond the stock export F35.

Prove Israel could have never flown a stealth aircraft over Irans airspace., or Iraq.

I look forward to your proof.

Pretend it couldn't refuel in the air, or in Saudi Arabia or Kuwait.

I have drones I fly over my horses because it's so fun.

I haven't posted here in some time and don't intend to be around that long. Those who enjoy the spin can ignore the facts, but let me say where we stand in the stand off between US/Israel and Iran:

1- the US has been engaged in a long standing disinformation campaign against Iran and that campaign remains in full swing. Its main audience is the American and western public. Some of the lies and disinformation are simply too ludicrous to have any credibility with anyone in Iran.
2- the US started a very 'generous' program, called "Reward for Justice" (should be called "Reward for Traitors"), promising up to $15 million to any Iranian who worked for Iran's nuclear, military or oil industry with useful information. That program along with a host of other programs and efforts, have probably helped make inroads within the Iranian government and its political, military and security services. Can't deny the US/Israel have had some success on this front.
3- the US maximum pressure campaign caused some major problems for Iran's economy, especially hurting Iran's lower middle class and working class and poor. It also did limit some of the funding Iran had available to counter US, Saudi etc largesse in various theaters such as Lebanon, Iraq, Syria etc in terms of being able to have good relations with some of the local actors. Overall, the sanctions do hurt Iran but the problem isn't going to be solved for Iran through any negotiated deal with the US. That is the reality and those within Iran who suggest otherwise are generally part of the 5th column formed within Iran by a host of actors throwing around corrupt deals and money to buy such officials.
4- on the nuclear front, Iran's program is where it has been for a long time: a decision by Iran to make the bomb or not. Most people think the current leadership in Iran doesn't want to take the risk, but I am hoping they understand that to fail to do so, could lead to disaster for the country.
5- on the military front, Iran is doing fine. Iranian advances in a variety of fields are now quite clear and acknowledged even by its foes. In conventional terms, the US/Israel's options against Iran are limited and none of them look good.

I've heard that Mossad's operating principle is that "by way of deception shall we make war". Deception and murder is what Mossad does.
