I am not discussing the battery, I am discussing the range. My sources that you glossed over are discussing the range. Your original question was discussing the range. My range is up 30+ miles from new.

the two are directly related. Case and point. If you have zero charge you have zero range. If you have full charge you have full range.

In order to get more range than you started with you'll have to have more battery capacity. Software doesn't do that
Range is directly related to battery capacity.

I don't doubt range can be improved on an aging vehicle with software. But it won't be an improvement in original range. For that you'd need a battery replacement.

Couldn’t care less what you doubt. It is fact as proven by numerous independent sources, government data and TSB’s.

Also not doubted is that Pete Buttigieg is the son of Joseph Buttigieg. A Marxist scumbag who spent his entire life subverting America and had an undenying devotion to one of the 20th century's greatest monsters (Antonio Gramsci). The corrupt apple has not fallen far from the poisoned tree. Pete is an authoritarian technocratic socialist who uses identity politics to subvert. He hates traditional Americans, the middle class, human rights and capitalism.

Regarding electrical vehicles..... they are a **** way to reduce CO2 emissions.... a really really **** way. There are better ways to do it that do not damage the working and middle class. These are not mentioned by the ruling elite, because their interest is not in reducing emissions, their interest is in enriching oligarchs and impoverishing the Wests working/middle classes (you will own nothing and love it, build back better). Trust the engineers, not the elites or the politicians. Here is the best analysis I have seen from Quora by an engineer in the field (fully sourced in link). This analysis does the math and uses the data:

Remember that is the leftist bureaucracy and the elites who are the biggest impediment to implementing nuclear.... by far and away the most rational solution.

Congratulations for putting your daily quota of buzzwords in one post!

Your 7 year old opinion piece has nothing to do with the OP or Pete’s words.

Then you should have said that in your initial remarks instead of speaking about range which you obviously have no comprehension of.

Again, keep up with your own conversation instead of relying on pages of strawmen.

Okay so range is an effect of battery capacity. To increase range from where it was when the car was new you would have to add more batteries.

Software updates can help gain back a percentage of the range lost due to battery decay but it can't add extra range you have to have another battery to do that.

It's just the reality. I won't accuse you of being dishonest because I'm not that petty. It's more likely you just don't remember.

A system can absolutely be made more efficient that it can surpass the original operating parameters.

It is absurd that you are actually arguing this is impossible and fascinating in light of numerous sources showing that it has happened.

But it is in line with the vast majority of your ideology so you can at least claim consistency .

not thousands of cycles later. If it was 2 years old maybe but you said your car was a 2013 and you drive it everyday assuming you charge it three times a week that's over a thousand cycles.
just because you find something on the Internet and can link to it doesn't mean it's true.

Way too many people out there are full of absolute horse **** with regard to electric cars

I understand it's a religion to you I don't worship at that after that's all.

Yes; Tesla, a dozen automotive organizations and the EPA are all conspiring against you! That makes perfect sense. It is all a vast conspiracy!

It is refreshing to see you admit that “maybe” systems can be made more efficient extending range after saying it was impossible for pages though.

    Baby steps I guess.

well yes Tesla is they want me to buy their crap that's the whole point of them existing. People who sell things to you are doing that to try and get you to buy it. Most automotive organizations that you deem as credible like JD power and associates or Kelley Blue book are owned and operated by people wanting to sell you things so I don't trust them. I trust reality because it is.

The EPA is a government agency that is often used by large corporations to put small businesses out of business.

So I don't trust a damn thing those lying bastards say.
well if you weren't blinded by rage and devotion to your electric car religion you would have seen that the first time I posted it instead of the 4th or 5th.
cope with your rage however you need to.

I deny your god as false you just have to deal with it baby steps or otherwise.

Odd that you call it a religion while spouting your own personal faith without a single collaborating source.

    Ironic even.

I’ll stick with facts and observable metrics. You stick with your feelings.
