Eric Trump spent six hours pleading the Fifth Amendment more than 500 times

Every American has the right to not incriminate themselves in court or in a deposition. According to the court documents for New York Attorney General Letitia James' probe of the Trump Organization, Eric Trump spent six hours doing exactly that.

Not surprisingly, Eric Trump, as a member of a family of crooks, use the 5th Amendment more than 500 times. This is a pattern from the family of crooks to undermine investigations, criminal and civil, while lying, another family trait, that they have nothing to hide. The family of crooks always seems to have something to hide.

There is a reason the 5th Amendment exists - and there are reasons other than "you are guilty" to plead the 5th.

Yah but it usually means you’re guilty.

    Such as?

Sure, there are other precepts of the 5th amendment, but please expand and tell us how anything else other than the part that says one "nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself" applies to Eric T****?

Need to point out this is not a criminal case..... yet...

Like in the Hunter Biden threads, if you don’t like Eric Trump then don’t vote for him. Problem solved.

Where is the link to the transcript that supports your claim?

Are you new to calculators? So, according to you, every 43 seconds, the interrogators formed a question, asked the question, Eric considered it, conferred with counsel, and plead the 5th, every 43 seconds for 6 hours straight? No bathroom breaks? Sounds like yet another load of crap. I'll await your production of the transcript.

    1) Donald Trump, in his business life, presides over an ongoing Criminal Enterprise
    2) Eric Trump is, beyond question, part of this ongoing criminal activity
    3) Eric Trump taking the 5th should be totally EXPECTED.

That isn't what Trump himself said in the quote.

Nicely said, but not a good analogy. Eric Trump is a Trump Corporation official. And it wasn't "problem solved" with the righties on this forum when I pointed out, on several anti Biden threads, that Hunter isn't a public official and is not running for office.

Payback really is a dandy little thing, isn't it?

    :roflol:

"At testimony held on September 24, 2020, after answering a number of preliminary questions, Allen Weisselberg invoked his Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination to more than 500 questions over five-and-a-half hours," the filing said.

    So?
Your only rebuttal is implying that the NY AG lied on the filing?

    Good luck with that...:bored:

Actually, it doesn't. It means the state has the burden to provide evidence of guilt. Not you. Are you suddenly against the constitution here?

Yes that’s who has the burden, and I’m for the constitution.

It didn’t. It also doesn’t change the fact that it’s normally used by the guilty.
