1) Look at the color of the blanket and the corresponding surfaces. The blanket is simply being used as urban camouflage webbing. What colors do you think they should be using for camouflage? Neon pink and yellow zebra stripes? Failing that maybe black with a big white plain as day Z on it.

2) Yes obviously the Ukrainians have figured out how to get main battle tanks up to the top floors of high rise apartments. Do you think they use the stairs or the lifts?

 

I’m beginning to think that Russian stupidity has no limits.
They are probably thinking of bombing the supply routes for Ukrainian military aid in Poland. If this happens and NATO does not respond in full, I’ll be outside rioting, as that would be the end of the current world order.

I’m seeing social media posts about smoke coming out of the russian embassy in Warsaw.
They are burning the documents.
Russians did that when they were ordered to shut down San Francisco consulate. They also did that right before the war in Ukraine started.
Looks like their embassy is not planning to stay in Warsaw for much longer.

Russian generals are dying in Ukraine partly because they are struggling to get conscripts to follow orders, report says

Russian generals are moving into advanced positions leaving them exposed to attacks because they're struggling to get their orders through to conscripts, a European official told Foreign Policy magazine.

A European diplomat briefed on intelligence reports told Foreign Policy that a failure of Russian communications systems was leaving generals exposed to interception and targeted strikes.

The diplomat also said that difficulties in getting conscripted troops to follow orders were making them take positions close to the front.

yeah been an issue from the start.
I heard that recently its because of the lack of communications and jamming of their radio frequencies they are confiscating mobile phones and using those which the Ukrainians can tap into and locate when certain numbers are dialed once they have that then....Bayraktar time etc.

New sanctions to be announced during Biden’s trip to Europe
Additional sanctions will be imposed on Russia by President Joe Biden and the transatlantic alliance when Biden travels to Europe for a series of meetings this week, national security adviser Jake Sullivan said Tuesday.

A key part of the next round of sanctions will focus on enforcement, including stopping attempts by countries to help Russia evade the economic penalties.

"The West has been united,” Sullivan said. “The president is traveling to Europe to ensure that we stay united.”

Biden will also announce joint actions to reduce Europe’s dependence on Russian gas and will discuss with NATO allies the levels of troops needed on Europe’s eastern flank in the longer term.

And Biden will outline new humanitarian assistance from the U.S. to help the Ukrainians under attack as well as the growing number of refugees, Sullivan said.

During Biden’s trip to Poland, after conferring with European leaders in Brussels, the president will interact with U.S. troops and meet with experts involved in the humanitarian response. The White House has not said whether Biden will also meet with Ukrainian refugees.

The Kyiv Independent reported Tuesday that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy will address remotely the leaders of NATO countries at the summit to stress the importance of boosting air defenses to stop Russian bombardment that has killed hundreds of civilians.
