The San Diego County Board of Supervisors has adopted a new definition of "woman" that would reportedly allow male-to-female transgender residents to demand inclusion as women in jails, homeless shelters, and domestic violence shelters.

A lot of organizations and local governments are changing the definition of "woman" or going through all their laws with a fine-tooth comb and replacing the words "men" and "women" with something else, as the trendy new thing to do.

That's unusual for San Diego, because most of the time, they elect conservatives mayors.

Anyway, I agree with you, it's nuts.

Seems like a violation of the first amendment. There isn't a ministry of language.
