Oh me? Just feels right and that is enough for me. But if you want a more complicated answer? Being a guy is weird and the rituals involved are weird. But what it means to be a girl makes more sense to me. I understand it more.

I first felt dysphoria when I was six and it was about dress up so I don’t really think that’s a meaningful question. But if you want to ask about the biological essentialist position? Probably 5th grade or when they first learn about puberty.

That's pretty innocuous and shouldn't be a conversation starter. If a student asks you what it is what is your answer?

 

Explain that. And what the **** is a gay trans person? You dress up as a girl but still like girls thing?

 

I would be hesitant to condemn the LGB community, but only to happy to let her rip when it comes to the TQ. They are where the danger lies .. because they're damaged people who simply found a cover for their ill. Subconscious or not, they should be psych screened out of any professional role of influence .. and the military.

 

Refraining from discussing sex/gender etc with children is NOT a closet. It's respect for innocence, and being whole enough to not need so much freaking validation.

Explain the concept of cis-het normativity? Basically the way we construct gender is geared towards satisfying the needs of usually male, white, 'middle class' cishets. For example in video games women are almost never given proper armor because "boob armor is plenty". The reason for this is because the game is assuming the people who play it are white, middle class, cishet males.

 

And yet people assume because I say that I am transgender I am talking about my genitals for some reason. Seriously, it's kinda creepy how much cishet people focus on trans people's genitals.

 

It's a trans person who is attracted to the same gender as their current (new) gender. So a female to male transman who is attracted to men, or a male to female transwoman who is attracted to women.

That's their way of explaining it. What it actually is, is straight people. It doesn't matter what they 'dress up' as, they're still attracted to the opposite sex.

 

And people wonder why it's so important to be exposed to ideas that challenge their preconceptions and beliefs.

 

It's way creepier to expect others to accept whatever's in your pants.

 

Oh for the love of... sexual orientation is not the same as gender identity.

It's this kind of ignorance which kind of explains why we need LGBT teachers.

 

Beliefs like thinking transitioning will help. Or that enabling gender confusion is a good thing. Etc etc.

 

Yeah exactly, so trans people don't do that. We respect what the person we're talking to is saying they are. Sarcasm withstanding of course.

Uhhh.... if transition didn't help, then why does things like GCS have an incredibly high success rate at reducing gender dysphoria, and has an incredibly low regret rate?

 

Unless you actually don't know what it is because you say stuff like: "What it actually is, is straight people.". It's not straight. It's gay.

Trans people joke about genitals because "haha, dysphoria is stupid, we can have all sorts of different bodies and be cool with it". Cishet people do it because they're 1)confused over their own sexual orientation and getting irrationally angry because they can't resolve their confusion without confronting deeply held beliefs, or 2)fetishizing us.

and being you asked… You can’t report me for it. Yes you have. The fact you look at a family picture and automatically assume sexuality proves you have. How do you know they’re not adopted and one spouse is trans? Yes you have shown that wether you like it or not

 

If you're a male (biologically), and attracted to females .. you're straight. The packaging doesn't change a thing.

 

There’s no debate on it. This is first hand experience testimony from her. She believes she had a hand in turning them queer. How much more testimony do you need?

you’re right to point out that’s a good point and I’m not discrediting your observation at all. This woman violated the schools trust and the parents trust and I truly appreciate your acknowledgment of that.
