True, but the amendment doesn't restrict regulation. Meaning the SC would not rule that a criminal and/or a mentally ill person has a 2nd amendment right to be armed. Felons can be denied even voting rights.

 

I've seen very, very little detail of this shooting. I haven't seen the motive, and I haven't seen any evidence so far that any existing gun laws or any proposed gun laws would have stopped it. Once more info is available, I'm happy to talk about reasonable legislation, provided that it is actually reasonable.

 

Get a refund.

Umm bullets don't harm or kill anyone until a person aims it and pulls the trigger... Of course bullets have little purpose besides harm and destruction but it is a person is who decides on how it is used.

 

"...a person in the United States of America dies of gunshot every 12 minutes..." That is one VERY UNFORTUNATE person!

Well FOX cares much less about what happened in Buffalo. Their main stories are still about elections, border crisis, and what Trump is doing. Sure they mention Buffalo but they care a lot less about it and give most of their time towards other stories

Oh I think that goes back to the dude who was the suspect in the Atlanta Olympic bombing. After that I think they stopped referring to people as suspects and and started calling them persons of interest. It is all about not getting sued if they name the wrong person or say he did it when he didn't. I think the Sandyhook shooter's brother tried to sue some people who named him as the shooter because his brother had his ID on him but that didn't go anywhere as far as getting rich off the mistake last I heard.

 

Yeh, a person dies every 1.7 minutes of obesity.

It's great. You don't have mass murders all the time, schools work, everybody gets health care (which helps in controlling epidemics and pandemics) the roads are better. It just works.

 

Did you know that roughly the same number of people die because of automobiles annually?

Side note. I am quite old. Though my driving record was unblemished for decades, I noted a decrease in my ability to react to emergency situations on the road and have stopped driving. By doing so, I have reduced to some slight degree the possibility of someone being injured or killed through my driving. I also divested my home of firearms many years ago. I could see no need for them, and the risk of them being stolen and used by someone else in a criminal manner was not something I wished to be part of.
