Its not an assumption. Its what your two posts portray. You do know that there is a difference right?

If a person goes out in a white hood your first thought would be "that guy is a white supremacist" or "KKK member" right? Because that is what the white hood portrays. In reality that person may have just lost a bet and that was a consequence of losing that bet.

Of course in your mind you are picturing him saying just go kneecapping everyone in site when in reality it was far more likely in the context of something along the lines of a less lethal means of stopping a threat, that in a lot of ways one could argue should have been the tactic with Ashley Babbit. Lots of people have contemplated the notion of a less lethal means of shooting in various police conflicts, and in the end, conventional orthodoxy says they should shoot to kill and that shooting the legs is actually a dangerous option. Nothing wrong with having the discussion in the midst of a brainstorming session though.

Did you miss where he said "Nothing wrong with having the discussion in the midst of a brainstorming session though." No one in those sessions expects that such an idea will be carried out. The idea is to stimulate the brain by removing all limits on the thought process.

It’s utterly amazing the lengths people will go to defending something so moronic just because they have such a blind allegiance to their political side.

I am sure Ashley Babbit wishes she was shot in the leg.

I have taken part in many brainstorming sessions in my life, mostly at work.

Defending its principles has not one thing to do with a blind political allegiance. In fact, it has not one thing to do with politics.

I agree. In my brainstorming sessions, I try to figure out how to blow up congress and start over from scratch. Lol

Seriously, though, I’ve said some pretty stupid things in brainstorming meetings. When he said take the guns first and worry about due process later, that wasn’t brainstorming. I would find it very easy to believe he meant this, too.

    FAKE CLAIM #1
The left defended 576 riots killing cops and Americans but because Conservatives believe in convictions before sentencing they claim the right is defending an action instead of a right. This is produced by the non critical thinkers of the left

    FAKE CLAIM #2
Nope, they expose the left for the continued false reposts of what happened and when they get caught with false information they get upset like the cop that was killed with a fire extinguisher. One thing the left hates is getting caught again with fake claims

    FAKE CLAIM #3
The left would rather see Americans killed by terrorist instead of admitting that Trump stopped all American soldiers from being attacked or killed for18 months.
Trump negotiated a cease fire and successfully evacuated 4 military bases and 13,000 troops without a single person killed, attacked, or left behind.

Unlike Bidens idiocy abandoning Americans to terrorist, killing 13 American soldiers, bombing a family of 8, an allowing the terrorist to tell Biden he will leave when they tell him too.

    FAKE CLAIM#4
They support border security no matter how much fecal matter you throw at it. Trying to twist a situation into people being executed for not following existing immigration laws is all the left has. Fake claims to allow open borders.

    FAKE CLAIM #5
For the party who doesn't care about Biden flying his son around the world to get millions from China and Ukraine the hypocrisy is overwhelming

    FAKE CLAIM #6
False, you don't like that they exposed the lefts fake claims about Covid.

    FAKE CLAIM #7
False, you can't provide a single charge against Gaetz so your just spitting out leftist garbage. Kind of like having no criminal charges against Trump for your 6 years of crying wolf thousands of times. Heres your first clue. They don't arrest people and convict them because you got your feeling hurt. If you have evidence then make a charge.

    FAKE CLAIM #8
Your own lefty loony elected officials decided to give the FDA 28 million for salaries trying to hide it under the guise of a baby formula bill. It produces no formula what so ever and the FDA, after clearing the plant of contaminates never found, they still have not released their restrictions and have not allowed the plant to continue.
But the left will lie about it instead of fixing it as long as they can get some money out of it

    FAKE CLAIM #9
The left would allow a 9 month baby be torn apart in the womb to sell baby parts. The only thing the right has proposed is term limits but again, the left wants their way and if they don't get it they will make up anything they can.

    FAKE CLAIM #10
Yet it is the right who provides help crisis pregnancy centers to do that very thing. Take care of children. Bet you can name a single lefty organization that does that.

Yep, brainstorming means nothings off the table until it's brushed aside. The theory is as you eliminate the ridiculous, unfeasible or outrageous the actually solution will emerge.

Sounds like you’ll go to any length to defend the idiocy of his statement. That’s on you.

Factual would be stating his comment was beyond stupid. I get it…you have this need to defend certain people no matter what.

I’m not no Trump supporter, I have made that very clear. But as a registered Republican I will say no, not at all am I okay with this.

But as a Republican I will point out the obvious hypocrisy. Did you make a single thread about the one president that did order a kill on an American citizen with no warrant or due process? Should that president be convicted of obvious crimes?

The idea is stupid. However, brainstorming practically requires stupid ideas. It allows free wheeling which might come up with far out ideas that work. The point is that it never went beyond the idea stage. That is as it should be.

Gotcha moment? I am not sure what it is you are trying to say.

In regards to Ashley Babbitt however, if ever there would be a time for a warning shot or less than lethal shot, that would have been a textbook example of a proper situation. I can understand the notion of brainstorming such a situation, whether or not it should ultimately be adopted is perhaps another matter altogether.

The problem with the TDS crowd is that they substitute the worst possible motive for everything that ever comes out of Trump's mouth, and then they proceed to argue against the notion they just falsely attributed to him. They have created this fictitious boogeyman that is little more than a figment of their overactive imagination. Love him or hate him, brainstorming the notion of a less than lethal shot for riot situations is not out of bounds.

Acting like a person defending this brainstorming notion is automatically an off-the-charts partisan is silly.
