Hitler seized many independent countries and he didn’t kill all of their residents. While Nazis committed a lot of horrible crimes during occupation, they targeted mostly Jews and tended not to harass the locals in the rear. And before you jump in with Bandera, I’d like to remind you that Nazis didn’t act any different in occupied Ukraine compared to their behavior in other occupied countries - there were local gangs that were capturing local Jews in exchange for monetary rewards in all occupied countries, but those people were always a small minority. 99% of those people are long dead now, but the point stands - Nazis didn’t kill off all French, Danes, Poles, Czechs, and others, therefore no reason to believe they would do that to all Ukrainians. Interestingly enough, when USSR forces started to come back, Nazis helped some Ukrainians who didn’t want to live under communism to immigrate to 3rd countries, like Australia. I’m not trying to paint Nazis in any favorable light, just trying to point out some real historic facts.

PS: according to many RussiZts, including Pootin, Ukrainians don’t exist. Isn’t that interesting that even Hitler recognized Ukrainians as a separate ethnic group? They used Ukrainian language for administrative control of Ukraine, not Russian.

Since they are so much more civilized than the untermenchen Russians, then why are they committing genocide by attacking and killing civilian populations? Also, if their 'race' and culture is so superior to the Russians, then where are their philosophers, writers, artists, inventors, etc., etc.? I mean certainly they must have contributed something to the world other than just embroidered shirts? Holodomor was caused by Stalin’s 5 year plans. The middle managers were so afraid to not meet the plan that they would resort to stealing personal reserves of many peasants. Collectivization was a huge contributing factor because many peasants didn’t want to turn over their own livestock and reserves and instead destroyed them, which, combined with 5 year plan, resulted in severe food shortages.
While Ukrainians were dying of famine, Stalin sold their wheat to other countries.

1917-1921-that was the civil war, and not the war between Russia and Ukraine. The war was all over the territory of former USSR between different political groups. Revolutioners installed their power everywhere, not only in Ukraine. Has nothing to do with invasion of one country in another. 1939. This was an invasion of Soviet Union, and not Russia, and not in Ukraine, but in Poland. By the way, I was in Uzhgorod in did not notice that western ukranians hate Russians. This is stereotype. Probably it was back 70 years ago, but not at the times of a collapse of USSR. Again, after WW2 there was a resistance in western part of Ukraine, former Polish territories, by Bandera gangs. They were terminated by NKVD and Soviet Army, consisting not only of Russians, as youb know. So no real invasion. Annexion of Crimea and current invasion are the only cases that can be called an invasion.

 

We know who the good guys are because Russia is wearing it's white hat.

 

And that’s why I added the last paragraph for perspective - Pootin, and his version of fascism, does not recognize Ukrainians as an ethnicity and their goal is to eliminate Ukrainian culture, language, and history. In contrast, even Hitler recognized Ukrainian ethnicity and in Reichskommissariat Ukraine (nazi germanys occupational government entity) they used Ukrainian language to communicate with the locals, not Russian. There are lots of documents and posters from that time and they all used Ukrainian language. If the whole Ukraine was Lenin’s invention (like Pootin and his sheep claim), then why would Hitler go along with it?
Pootin wants to exterminate any sign of existence of Ukraine. Doesn’t that make Pootin worse then Hitler to an ethnic Ukrainian?
