    Yep, that's my point. Gangs, d - rugs, open southern border. Ineffective or Woke law enforcement and justice system.
    I just read this morning Washington state is telling cops not to pull over speeders - what could go wrong? :eek:

    Mostly it's deranged, manic Americans that have fallen through societal cracks that are "shooting up schools, churches, or grocery stores", rarely is it a hardened criminal.

    Why should cops pull over speeders when they have an automated radar gun that records their license and then they get a $100 love letter in the mail. Those things are cheaper than dirt nowadays and we could easily put one on every sign on the road. Cops are for chasing bad guys not harassing the public.

    So, we should end violence everywhere in the world before we end it in our schools, malls, movie theatres etc?
    A good part of the reason I work so hard is so I have money enough to NOT live in a violent gun-infested place, now you want to bring it home to me?
    Thanks, but no thanks. If we get rid of ALL the guns then NO place will be violent, at least not with guns

    Well, maybe there's some value on slowing cars down to prevent accidents? Also, having a signed ticket avoids having to go to trial for a driver claiming "I wasn't driving".

    Thats like saying if we get rid of all the drugs, then no one will get addicted or OD. Its true, but its also meaningless since its impossible to actually do.

    ...or do you think the 'war on drugs' has sufficiently reduced how many people buy, sell and use drugs?

    Words have meanings.. their use of the words "assault weapon" in not to be overlooked.
    Any weapon used to assault is called an "assault weapon", so not only does it include any and all guns, but hammer, baseball bats, knives, and any items that can be used to assault. It is exactly the words that Biden proclaimed.

    I have to agree the the pundits - this is not politics it is tribalism. “My side is right and your side is wrong” with those on the other side being painted as villains and “no better than they should be”
