Heh, Dmitry, in Russia they also sent people who had been noticed in corruption to prison. The most known cases are minister of economic development Ulyukaev, former high level officier from Ministery of Internal Affaires Zaharchenko and many others (mainly governors of the whole regions). I suspect though that they did not play Kremlin rules so they finished in the prison. Same is in Ukraine. Those, who play by the rules of Kiev, will stay free, although being corrupted.

I have news for you, the EU is going to break up, thanks to the idiotic sanctions imposed on them by Washington. I say imposed on the EU, because they are the ones suffering, not Russia.

Sanctioning a broadcaster that uses the money from an aggressor that violated Ukrainian sovereignty and territorial integrity in 2014 is one thing and limiting free speech is another.
In Ukraine, when it’s not in the state of war, nobody goes to prison for social media posts and for voicing opinion on TV. Unlike in Russia. ;)

The biggest irony of it all lies in the fact that your post whines about limitations to pro-Russian brainwashing in Ukraine even though anyone who would dare to say anything favorable about Ukraine on Russian TV can get a real 15 year prison term. In Russia you used to get a 15 year term for murder, not for speaking up. In Russia you can get fined and spend a few days in jail for standing with a sign that says “No War”!
Ukraine has a magnitude of orders more freedoms than Russia.

    Lolwut?

This is just plain old sad.

Saying that a war is over when It is quite obviously not is to spread disinformation.

Snake island is already within the range of Ukrainian artillery. Everything on the surface of that island can be burned at any moment. At this stage of war the island has limited strategic value, that’s why it’s been quiet in that area. But everyone must understand that it takes just one decision and everyone on that island will be burned alive.

Russians want it to be over. Their military is getting dangerously depleted.

    They have more than enough.

That doesn't make sense, at least to me.

Of course. Again, more than enough..

So NATO claims this? You're kidding right? I'm sure Russia has a document signed by NATO stating they would not move further east after Germany was reunited. :dual:

Since I have no idea with whom you have Selbstgespraeche, but it seams to be about medical supplies.

It has been reporte that the Russian MASH units are short on supplies and since they are not able to proper care for wounded soldiers with limb injuries, they have gone back to the WWI method of caring, which is amputation.
Naturally if the military is out of supplies for what ever reason, then you can expect that the civilian sector is out of it, too.
The old problem of the USSR/Russia, bad planning and lousy logistics

I add just an other thought to it. We know that Sputnik had only 60%, despite all the manufactured data. I wonder how ramped Covid is in the Russian army. Are those soldiers vaccinated, boostered.
Naturally same for the Ukraine, Eastern Europe has a horrible vaccination rate and it is one concern with the refugees.

The released National Archive documents says otherwise. Educate yourself so you don't appear too foolish.

Sarcasm after I realized your source was NATO. Although no document was ever signed the National Archive has pages and pages of documented conversations with Bush and Gorbachev, and Clinton and Yeltsin discussing that agreement.

All that became so much toilet paper after Putin came to power.

You don’t get someone’s verbal promise if you want your agreement to work for any period of time. You don’t get to revert to old verbal conversations after you signed a document that pretty much states you don’t hold any grudges.
Russians want others to believe this childish story, even though they themselves are like the biggest bureaucrats in the world and get everyone to put in writing even the silliest explanations or promises.

Let’s look at the document that Russia signed in 1997:
Russia literally signed this! No ifs, ands, or buts about it!
Verbal conversations prior to the date Russia signed this document mean nothing!
As you can see, Russia didn’t just violate its Budapest memorandum commitments - it also violated its commitments to NATO. Written and signed commitments!

It sounds like there has been a lot of fighting to try and retake it, though.

Lately, no, not much news. Sounds like Russia is putting weapons on there despite resistance, though. I suppose Ukraine is mainly biding its time until a sufficient force is assembled to clear out that part of the sea, though.
