No need to repeat what I said which was completely accurate. I watch committee hearings from time to time because they can be entertaining political theater. A hearing which is staged to be political theater doesn't appeal because it is all coreographed. I don't think politicians make good actors. Hope you enjoyed it though.

I don't think they're going to show ALL the evidence. Much of it will be saved for the Justice Department when they prosecute the instigators of the insurrection.

 

Nobody has to watch the Jan 6 committies hearings, you know why? Because the FBI already did the investigation. And you know what the FBI said? There was non connections between the Jan 6 riots and the white house. You can find numerous articles about that from 2021. Call me crazy but I doubt that Nancy Pelosi and 6 hand picked democrats and 2 hand picked never trumpers are going to show us anything that the FBI has not already looked into.

On a personal note, I assume many of the board's progressives feel the same way, it's nice to have posts written on the subject of 1/6 and all it entails, totally vindicated by what we heard last night and what we were told we will hear in the coming weeks. Liz Cheney's detailing of the evidence they will present was, if you'll pardon the phrase, a "I told ya so" moment.

They weren't really hearings in the traditional sense. They were a sort of Benediction for those members of the Church of The Poisoned Mind. Instead of the High Priest being Anthony Fauci, it was Priestess Cheney.

The blood of Ashli Babbitt is on Pelosi's hands, CP, and the rest on this committee as they try to play this January 6 for what they allowed to happen. The protestors should never have been allowed assess into the Capitol, and that was accomplished only because of the failure of the security that day...it was their job to protect the Capitol and they failed miserably... no excuse....
