    In early May, a Washington Post-ABC News poll found that a 52 percent majority of Americans believed the former president should be criminally charged for his role in the insurrectionist riot.

    It would appear that support for the idea inched higher in the weeks that followed.

    That's 58% of Americans in favor of a prosecution in another ABC/Ispos poll...

    This number will surely increase as the evidence of the 1/6 Commission is exposed publicly.

    That being said, the MAGA would have to explain to me how one wins an election when more than half of the voters want to see your candidate rotting in a cell....

    A “poll” from MSNBC. That holds about as much credibility as a tabloid magazine from the grocery store checkout aisle. Lol

    Maybe you should stop worrying about some ex-President and start focusing on the disaster that currently squats in the WH.

    If you think Trump was strong before, charge him with a crime in regards to Jan 6 in an attempt to keep him off the ballots in 2024…. Strike him down and he will grow stronger than you could ever possibly imagine.

    Yes, the same polls which gave Hilary an 80% chance of winning the election? The Jan 6th hearings have produced nothing so far and the longer they drag on I suspect people will just get bored with them.

    Were you among those who were convinced that Trump would get a second term?

    At a minimum, this Commission will end Trump's political career.

    And if by some miracle Trump should win the Republican primary, his chances of being re-elected are nil.

    You have to read.

    If more than half the voters want Trump prosecuted, how will he win a 2nd term?

    If Trump is found to be guilty of a crime, if he were to be charged with a crime at all, then -- sure -- let Trump spend his remaining years "rotting in a cell"... right next to the one we put Hillary Clinton in for her actual, provable, obvious crimes against NATIONAL SECURITY LAWS! Oh, BTW, and in the cells next to Hillary should those occupied by former FBI Director, James Comey, and, former Attorney General, Loretta Lynch for letting Hillary get away with all of it!

    What? No appetite for "equal justice under the law"...?

    In a free and fair election Trump could only win with more than half of the popular vote.
    Not a problem -- Biden is very unpopular.

    But in America, Presidents are not elected by the popular vote of the people.
    Which is why Trump should not run again.

    I voted for Trump, probably will again given the alternatives, and I fully support charging him with crimes so long as the trial is public and we can see what his defense presents in discovery. If he's guilty, then toss him in jail. If he's not, a lot of other people will have a lot of explaining to do about the narrative they've been driving. Either way, I expect a lot of folks involved on both 'sides' are going to have new picture to paint when compelled to testify under oath. That needs to happen.
