Job Creators Network predicts Texas, Virginia, Georgia, Iowa, Arizona, South Dakota to see influx of companies…

    video
…As a growing number of companies plan to move or build up their operations in new states with business-friendly policies, the Job Creators Network is warning that high-tax states could face an economic contraction.

"Over the last couple of years, dozens of high-profile companies have left high-tax states like New York, New Jersey, Illinois, and California for states like Florida, Texas, and Tennesse with lower taxes and fewer regulations. For every big-name company that departs, hundreds of small businesses that people haven't heard of also move," JCN president Alfredo Ortiz told FOX Business. "As a result, economies in low-tax states are booming, while those in high-tax states are contracting."

Macaulay Porter, the press secretary for Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin, told FOX Business that the Commonwealth has added 80,000 jobs since his inauguration. Companies that have announced plans to move their global corporate headquarters to or build facilities in Virginia since Youngkin took office include Boeing, Raytheon Technologies, LEGO, Hamilton Insurance Group and Rocket Lab USA….

ed states are winning the economic battle with blue states. This shows that lower taxes, fewer regulations, lower factory energy costs, and a business friendly local environment trumps what is happening in blue states and cities. Even in some of the companies remaining in these big blue places, the work from home revolution triggered by the pandemic has caused some of the workers of those that remain to move for their own lower taxes, cost of living reasons.

Companies will naturally move to areas where low taxes exist. Their goal is to maximize profit. That much is unsurprising.

We have had a ton of businesses move to Chattanooga and it is becoming bluer and bluer though. As cities grow they begin to need more services than Republicans seem to be capable of implementing.

This is a good thing for the entire country — Democrats being tied up in only a few states is the only reason why the right is able to win national elections with the EC. As democrats spread out this is no longer the case.

The battle between red and blue continued. Now on the economy. Red states and counties are trying to keep us out of a recession while blue ones policies are plunging us into one.

They move to red states for the same reason they move to India and China.

Look at industry leaving the US — they are moving to areas with less environmental regulation, low worker pay and low taxes.

Some would argue this is a good thing.

The lesson is that businesses are not interested in anything but maximizing profits.

But at least they will be benefiting America and Americans by staying here.

Companies are finding that extending supply lines and the time and shipping costs are outweighing cheaper labor and are insourcing back home to places where taxes, regulations, cost of living are lower and natural gas to run the factory is cheaper, read right to work red states.

There are a few companies doing this but the majority are just moving from high tax states to low tax states. As the low tax areas are built up by these new corporations as well as the the workers and businesses that follow those areas eventually become blue.

I think this is a great thing, don’t you?

And it’s the same reason retirees move to red states, blue states just want too much.

Cost of living is a large factor in this also.
Red states are significantly cheaper to live in, this can be both a good and a bad thing depending on what you are looking at.

You think wrong. Many bicoastal secular progressive urban elites would rather the jobs are in China, Vietnam, Mexico rather than in America if it means they are in red states. Biden thinks like that.

Cost of living mostly. If you have Facebook do a search for a group called Leaving California, it’s interesting. On top of the living costs, people cite the regulations, unpreparedness, congestion, illegals, crime, etc for leaving.

    Here they are…

Cost of living is absolutely a factor. From what I’m seeing, so many people are moving to Florida that demand for housing has raised the cost of a home. No doubt that demand will create new jobs and the like as builders rush in to build more homes.

Well only so much can be moved. I.e.,, DoD contracts require the contractor to have an office within a certain distance from where it is being performed.

They work in blue areas because of the high cost of living? Lol

No. They move out of blue areas because of the high cost of living. If you look at that group, many people are moving to Arizona, Texas, Tennessee, Idaho and Florida.

If one must be in California for family or business reasons there are pockets of sanity here. I live in one of them.

I moved to So Cal in 1991 and it wasn’t so bad. Right around that time they came up with the three strikes law and they wanted to bar illegals from public benefits and ban gay marriages which are pretty conservative stuff even though they got shot down. Then things changed for the worse, if it moved it got taxed, if it didn’t move it got hit with a fee.
