But why not in the case of "some w**** [who] can’t keep her legs closed and is just having fun"? Is your position just for punishment, or do you have a principled reason?
Are you suggesting that a certain class of women won't alter their behaviour to avoid 'unwanted' conceptions? If so .. why do you think so little of them? Is this a race thing? What are you really saying here?
Then why did you say "It's not really up to you nor I to determine what their religion requires, is it?"
Hahaha! The baloney just keeps coming! "Rights not in the Constitution " and just who decides what those rights are? Could it be the SCOTUS?
The SC decision was based strictly on the Constitution, which is as it should be. The ONLY thing the Court decided was that this is not an issue the federal government has authority to decide, it's an issue for state legislatures. How much more Constitutional could a SC decision actually be?
It’s a baby, science cannot objectively dictate when a fetus becomes a baby. So your link is meaningless. You are wrong. welcome to the better America. The one where the Trump saved it with winning in the scotus.
Medicare Advantage (note the advantage part) does cover that stuff! When I went on Medicare Advantage I found out that it is just like the private insurance-based Medicaid I had for years as far as coverage goes. But I could go to an extended list of doctors because I got a Medicare PPO plan. PPO means I can go outside of my insurance network if I want to pay a bit more, and I don't need a referral either. As far as price goes I only pay an additional $112 a month in premiums (in 2022) for my Medicare Advantage plan (that's beyond my part A and B at $170.10 a month). I definitely came out of that deal ahead of the curve. If I had to buy a Platinum-tiered health insurance plan from New York State's health exchange I would probably pay just under $2000 a month for insurance (probably around $1800). Based on how low these costs are, I'm definitely starting to think that people are just so whiny today over pennies on the dollar.
It is their body, and inside it is another body that would almost certainly live if given a chance. Also, if a person is pregnant and is murdered, then it counts as a double homicide. I don’t make the rules, the abortion ruling doesn’t impact me at all and I wasn’t going to riot either way.
Oh, brilliant. Why didn't I think of that? Democracy is an illusion that is fading fast in this country. If not for the population being very well armed, it would have disappeared completely. Because we ARE well armed, and they can't enforce their will directly, they do it through division and manipulation, and are successful enough that they are able to only let through the candidates and decisions they want to let through. This entire Roe v Wade thing has been designed just to keep us divided and eachothers throats, to almost force people to take a stance that is a polar opposite of the other, with each stance dictated by political affiliation. This is done with the issue of abortion, guns, immigration, racial issues, etc etc. Its all a ruse and a shell game. The best answer is to demand personal freedom from government authority in all situations. Everybody mind their own business, and stop worrying about what everyone else is doing. That will take away the best weapons politicians have against us. Think critically about issues, and screw the political party's view on issues. When I stopped thinking of myself as a republican, and more as an independent, I found I only believed in bits and pieces of what each party was pushing. I'm all over the place on my political views, and it's revealed just how mind controlled the American population is. If you want real democracy, burn down the two party system. For that matter the "two ideology" system as well. "liberal" and "conservative" is just as much BS as "democrat" and "republican". Just 2 sides of the same coin, with no room for independent thought.
I really wonder how, now that the legal authority to deal with abortion issues is returned to the states, are the folk who have consistently argued this is a strictly legal, not moral, issue feel about the law now. Are you happy the laws are now changing?
In most cases the woman agreed to hold them for him. She just gets to decide for how long without any input. The point is is simply that what grows within is not part of the woman's body -- like an organ. It's not even similar to a cancer because a cancer develops entirely from cells from the woman's body, whereas a fetus shares cells from a man's body. Thus a fetus is something that is not part of the woman's body. At most a person can say it's a parasite living off the woman's body.
