Schumer incited the man into doing what he did... there should be a special committee looking into his behavior... worked for Trump... what's good for the gander is worth a goose...

Has anyone else noticed we are now on page 3 and not one single Democrat has condemned her rhetoric or schumers.... Not a single one of them.

Prosecutorial discretion dictates this one easily. Water's speech and activities overall didn't result in a serious enough crime to warrant their attention, if, indeed, her acts rose to any level of criminality, when Trump's speech and overall activities went well beyond the speech and did rise to levels of criminality, thus the DOJ has much bigger fish to fry.

    To wit.

Waters influenced no one to commit sedition, Trump did.

Waters didn't order the secret service to take down metal detectors so that armed insurrectionists could charge the capitol, Trump did.

Waters did not conspire to send fake electors to congress and the executive branch, Trump did.

Waters, didn't attempt to replace the AG with another AG who would comply with efforts to obstruct an official government proceeding, i;e., the Congressional Certification of the Electoral College results on 1/6. Trump did.

Waters act wasn't serious enough to trigger a congressional special committee investigation and senate judicial investigation, Trump's acts did.

Water's act wasn't serious enough to cause the FBI to raid key personnel in her staff, Trump's acts did for his staff. .

Water's act wasn't serious enough to predicate a Special Counsel which could lead to the indictment of many of her key personnel. Trump's acts did.

    etc, etc., etc.

So basically what I'm getting here is that you're okay with a politician publicly calling for other politicians to be harassed by mobs in public places.

Like I said not one Democrat will condemn her rhetoric but we have heard plenty of excuses

Having an unfavorable opinion of someone does not justify uncivil behavior.

Why don't you go back to the time when she did these things, and look around. A few of us didn't condone her activities. But this idea we have to now is silly. You're grasping at straws and your scraping for anything you can find on the dirty ground to nitpick against democrats is pathetic.

Compared to Trump, she's nothing more than a gadfly.

Why would you care about her when Trump is trying to destroy democracy?

That would be like stopping a fire truck on the way to a fire to attend to a barking dog.

You've got the melodramatic talking points down I'll give you that.

The reason that it matters is because the same hypocrites who refuse to condemn her are now in charge of this dog and pony show.

If Trump or even any Republican Congress person had said the same thing you people would have lost your cookies and you damn well know it too.

Has anyone else noticed that we are 18 months post Trump, and no Republicans who still feel they have a place in that Party, has condemned Trump's rhetoric?.. Not a single one of them.

If republicans get the house in November and they DON'T try to impeach Biden I will be totally discombobulated.

If the crime actually did occur, that would be grounds for an investigation. Realistically speaking, if the US capitol building were never breached, this whole investigation into the matter would not be taking place.

    Reread my rebuttal.

She's a gadfly. No one cares.

What is bizarre you don't care about the massive, epic, crimes committed by Trump.

you're like a person whining about a dog on the way to a fire.

And when I point it out to you, you ignore the point.

Did you read what I wrote that Trump has done?

    You don't give a damn?

You only go scouring the landscape for some **** about Waters, who is long forgotten, and think you are making some kind of point?

What the **** is wrong with you?

So you mean to sit here and tell me that if Trump had told a mob of people to go in harass elected Democrats anywhere that you find them in public that that would be okay?

Is there any evidence of this metal detector thing you speak of or is this more something someone heard from someone?

And they do not give a damn when their side does it.

There you have four examples of prominent Democrats directly calling for violence and no one gives a damn

A more important question is who has been doxing the addresses of people who have been witnesses? Supreme Court justices HAVE federal protection what do the poll workers targeted by Trump have as protection?

As for Maxine Waters WTF are you talking about? Are you referring to ancient history or something remotely recent?

Hmmm - how many “Democrats” have killed police during protests? How many gouged an eye from a police officer? Hit them over the head with a confederate flag? Attacked them with bear spray?

Playing “whataboutism” is a bit futile when your hands are dirty

Plus it is ancient history that all but a few have forgotten. Compare that to Trumps many many many incitement’s to violence

As I said it is not a good idea to play “whataboutism” when you side has really dirty hands
