But the policy isn’t working if it doesn’t result in more reduction of firearm homicides than before it was implemented. LOL

Not working? Strict gun control policies have been in place in Canada, Australia and in the EU... and their gun related crimes is dead low compared to the US.
And you are conceding that they are working, because you got no other explanation backed up by a source why there is a such a difference between those countries and the US.

Why do you always hide from the cultural differences? You cannot be taken seriously.

If the outcomes are the same 15 years after implementation of new law as the outcomes the previous 15 years before implementation YOU are the one that needs to do some explaining. LOL

We've already discusses that the US had the same decline prior to what Australia was doing, and then it just happened to stop.
I can explain why it didn't stop in Australia: it's due to gun policies.
While you got no explanation at all, and so you are conceding.

No. Not gun policy because the drop in rates was the same before the policy. LOL

Dude, the US rates went UP when we prevented the mentally ill and felons from buying guns. Using your “logic” that “proves” restrictions on felons and mentally ill increases firearm homicides.

Thanks for doubling down on your argument that correlation and causation are the same. We are amused.

One idea I've had is that the banners could start privately financed gun buyback programs. We'd probably just spend lots of money to melt down crappy guns but aren't they just the kind we want to get off the street?

Ban the sale of new guns (other than to a small list of exceptions)
    Result:
1: Number of guns out there will drop slowly
2: No one's guns will be taken

    Future generations will thank you

Future tyrants will thank you for making it easy to usurp the rights of civilians. Lol, guns aren’t eggs they don’t go bad after a few years.

Then you won't have to worry about not being able to get a gun after all new gun sales are banned
