So what happens if a person born in the United States does not believe in one god? What then? No longer welcome because he does not conform to your way of thinking? Will make in a second-class citizen. What then? If you make the axiom of "One God and family" you are essentially arguing that America will only be for people who accept your version of Christianity? Ever heard of the Puritians? That is exactly how they ran the colony. Disagree with them, and you are out of the colony, which is how some of the other colonies, we now call states, were started.

LOL, that's funny. For starters, you and pretty much all other modern "conservatives" are not in the least bit familiar with the spirit and letter of the US Constitution. None at all. We can go through numerous examples of the 2a, freedom of speech, freedom of religion, due process, equal protection under the law, and so forth. What Biden and the Democratic Party is doing is within the US Constitution, both the spirit and letter of the law. The same can be said, generally for the GOP, even with Trump, the GOP-led Congress, etc. The issue really is that you don't like what Biden is doing. Fine, I can understand that. But it you say that way, it is "boring," not provocative enough, doesn't get the headlines, and the base riled up. So, you and your fellow miscreants come up with "The regime" and other such nonsense. And yes, people from the left used the same sensationalized names on Trump, but most of what Trump did was well within the US Constitution. My beef with Trump is not the policies per se, but that he really didn't think them through and pretty much made them universal with no exceptions. For instance, we do have "criminal aliens" that we need to get rid of. Both the Democrats and Republicans agree on this. But to make people who are here and have been here for 30 years, members of the community, own a business, and so forth, as a criminal aliens because of one simple mistake, then he didn't think things through and they are not "criminal aliens." Illegals, along with almost all other groups who are not white, or Evangelical, get the "burn treatment" by modern conservatives and people like DJT. And yes, what DJT did was within the letter of the Constitution, which is the minimum standard, and can be questionable as to the spirit of the Constitution depending on your political idealogy. And what Biden is doing, with his executive orders, which must be based on existing US law and the US Constitution is doing the same thing with climate change and other issues. You just simply don't like it. And again, fine with that. But at least be honest about it instead of all this sensationalism you guys keep putting on.

The reality is that no one who is born here knows or has experienced what true authoritarian regimes are like. There are few who can tell you about the Nazi Regime, even some Germans who were kids are still alive today, or the Holocaust survivors. Or North Korean refugees who truely know what it is like to live under that type of system. In the former Soviet Union, you have to get back to the Breshnev era and before that.
