    I never made that claim
    Deflection

They reviewed all documents in Trump possession a few months ago. And two months later, magically, there is a big enough emergency that they send 100 agents to raid his house?
I swear, you lefties will swallow just about anything.

You should prepare yourself for midterms next month.

The Presidential Records Act (PRA) of 1978, 44 U.S.C. §§ 2201–2209, is an Act of the United States Congress governing the official records of Presidents and Vice Presidents created or received after January 20, 1981, and mandating the preservation of all presidential records.

Enacted November 4, 1978, the PRA changed the legal ownership of the President's official records from private to public, and established a new statutory structure under which Presidents must manage their records. The PRA was amended in 2014, to include the prohibition of sending electronic records through non-official accounts unless an official account is copied on the transmission, or a copy is forwarded to an official account shortly after creation

REVIEWED THE DOCUMENTS? You mean the documents that belong to US and belong in the National Archives?

It's also illegal, at least on this board, to call people culties. It's considered a personal insult. Read the rules.

Yeah, thank God for this. If what I'm reading on this thread is considered mainstream, (stuff of autocrats), we're in bad shape as a nation.

"RodB "Compare this to the FBI's handling of the clearly felon Hillary. IIRC only two agents, including the Director, interviewed Hillary as part of their investigation just a couple of days before Comey announced nothing would be forthcoming from his months long investigation. The FBI allowed Hillary to have her assistant and lawyer in the interview which is seldom if ever done though it was a voluntary interview. No 50 agents some in swat gear there. No siree."

Sorry you missed the original one, that one was cut up, meant for another

Hillary? Oh right the one who cooperated, unlike the Orange Stain.

FBI looked at Hillary for over a year.

Comey's statement on Hillary, 11 days before an election, probably cost her the election

The Democrats better start praying they "get" Trump. I've read that this is uniting people to support him in 2024.

TOP. MEN. FBI ‘Scoured’ Melania’s Wardrobe at Mar-A-Lago Looking for… Classified Shoes?

"Sounds like a fishing expedition launched out of desperation. The first director of the FBI was widely reputed to be a cross-dresser, maybe their interest was more . . . personal."

"The FBI's unprecedented raid on President Trump's Mar-A-Lago just keeps getting more ludicrous as it's revealed that federal agents rustled through former First Lady Melania Trump's closet."

While the warrant "focused solely on presidential records and evidence of classified information being stored there".

"The demeanor of the three DOJ lawyers who accompanied the FBI was arrogant and they repeatedly told Trump representatives: 'We have full access to everything. We can go everywhere.'"

"That "everywhere" apparently included Melania's wardrobe. So where exactly did the feds think Melania was hiding such classified presidential records? Sewn into her gowns? Taped to the bottom of her designer shoes?"

This is all BS the records search was a pretext to search the house for a smoking gun on J6 that they were certain would be there, as they are always certain that the smoking gun they have been searching for is always something, yet always around the next corner, then as they failed yet again they desperate and pathetically went through Melania's closet.

Backpack wearing "FBI agents conducting the raid refused to allow President Trump's attorneys to observe their search — providing an opportunity to plant evidence. An accompanying request to disable security cameras on the property was refused by Trump's team."

Good for them for refusing to turn off the security cameras as these rogue agents tossed the House of Biden's primary political opponent.

Pissant crime? My count 27 boxes, NONE should've been in TFG possession. ALL were US Gov't property, some had marking of top secret and classified

If the markings were still on them as classified or top secret, as it appears from reports, it was a crime

"... "If Trump did in fact order the declassification, he still needed to make sure his staff took the necessary next steps to modify the classification markings on the documents before he could actually handle and store the records (as a private citizen) as if they were unclassified. Under security classification rules, a classification marking on a document has to be treated as valid and binding unless and until a subsequent marking replaces it. Appropriate government staffers would have needed to cross out the classification markings in the headers and footers, and stamped 'declassified' on the record noting when it was declassified, by whom and under what authority. Since that does not appear to have been done with the classified documents reportedly identified to date, the documents remain classified and had to be treated as classified for handling and storage purposes.

    Heres what we DO know
The FBI reviewed these 15 boxes of documents two months ago.
Then two months later sends out 100 agents in the middle of the night to raid the property to get those boxes?
To even consider a raid on a former president blowing through every precedent in history they need to have provided unequivocal evidence of crimes of epic proportions to even get such a warrant.
If you're telling me this is just for documents for the archives, then I will tell you, democrats have sealed their own fates for years to come and people will pay for such idiocy.

    @spiritgide

Okay, and where is there any evidence that did not happen on this occasion?

At best that is a generalisation but relevantly it has no bearing in this matter....unless you have evidence otherwise.

You have evidence that M-16s were carried? Further, if I were a Federal Officer executing a search warrant on the massive premises of this place I would assume, nay, likely I'd KNOW, there is heavily armed security employed there. I'd take my big gun to potential big gun fight.
