(CNN)The FBI search at Mar-a-Lago this week came months after federal investigators served an earlier grand jury subpoena and took away sensitive national security documents from former President Donald Trump's property during a June meeting, people familiar with the matter tell CNN.

Investigators executed Monday's search in part because they had developed evidence, including from at least one witness, that there were potentially classified documents still remaining at the Palm Beach, Florida, property months after the National Archives arranged for the retrieval of 15 boxes of documents that included classified information in January of this year, a person briefed on the matter said.

Authorities also believed the documents remaining at Mar-a-Lago had national security implications, CNN reported earlier this week.

My point is that he choose to make the raid public, because he wants there to be wild speculation so he can fundraise.

If this is about nothing, he could prove that easily, but he chooses not to, because he loves the taste of lamb milk. His sheep dairy farm is his main source of income at this point.

The attorney at mar a logo has stated publicly she was not allowed to witness the seizure and was not provided a copy of the warrant.

Damn good post. I previously said it would be bad for Trump to run again. We need to move on but that doesn't mean I would be for what the DOJ pulled at Mar-A-Lago. I was leaning toward another 2024 conservative presidential candidate, but I can't help notice that the Democrats and other garden variety Trump laters aren't using their brains when it comes to the rightful condemnation of Biden's DOJ's abuse of power.
Finding a Trump hating magistrate to issue a search warrant instead of using a lawful subpoena to get the rest of the records back tells us how desperate the left is to gain and keep power. Make no mistake about it, the powers behind the raid, and yes, it was a RAID, should be severely panned by everyone. Absolute power corrupts. This needs to end. Garland needs to be held accountable.

If she was lying about it then you can blame the FBI for allowing it and not responding to her claim.
