Who's questioning the service of the rank and file members of the FBI? They are just following the orders of their superiors. And for the most part are doing great work. Garland is simply deflecting from the real issue -- the decisions and actions of those farther up the command chain. Who prepared the affidavit to obtain the search warrant. Was it someone like Kevin Clinesmith?

 

The affidavit in support of the request for the search warrant is not something you're going to enjoy. If you read it. And if you understand it.

Trump has a tendency to act/say things impulsively. He hired people to help him navigate through an area he never had to deal with before. Running the office of the POTUS. It's very reasonable to think he was more trusting of their advice than they deserved. He could have had people in his inner circle (possibly from the swamp themselves) telling him it would be a mistake to fire this person or that person. Eventually he did fire some - like the weasel Jeff Sessions.
