Over 80% of Americans say the country is headed in the wrong direction, at the very same time that Americans disapprove by far of Biden's job performance. And, these aren't even one poll. This has been the polling for several months now. Look, I realize you are a shill for the left and will deflect from the truth with everything you've got. You expect the opposing side to be more objective while you have your eyes closed solid.

Ignore my point at Republican's peril the tectonic plates are shifting

Like I said you can't read too much in those polls when the gas pump slaps you in the head every other day And since that is a worldwide problem you can't pin it on Biden. Again I repeat the show isn't over till it's over and things are headed Biden's way

Yeah, they should have just rejected Garland for S.Ct. by voting no for his confirmation.

LOL? What? The tectonic plates are shifting? 80% of Americans say the country is headed in the wrong direction. Biden's approval rating is far underwater. The House will be taken back by Republicans at the midterms. And you say the tectonic plates are shifting? Seriously?

Oh, wait a minute. Now I understand what you are saying. With democrats currently controlling the presidency, the House, and the Senate you are saying that the tectonic plates are shifting. Well, you're right. I agree with you.

Campaign Trump kept promising if he won, he'd put 2-3 justices on the SCOTUS that would overturn Roe vs Wade.
All 3 he got were well vetted by radical conservative Christo- fascist organizations on fulfilling Trump's promise before even interviewing with Trump.

Turtle- face prevented Garland from going near the SCOTUS where today he would be in the minority yet look where Garland landed..:roflol:

    Finally!!! OMG... a true breakthrough....

If they had done that, it could have been explained away (with typical RW lies of course, but explained nonetheless).

What actually happened couldn't.... and can't....

Note Mitch didn't go that way because Garland likely would have been confirmed in the full Senate...

I have to disagree with that. Nowhere does it say they must run the nominee through anything. The senate gave the advice to not nominate anyone as they are not providing their consent to the nominee. Obama nominated someone(as is his right), the senate did not confirm as they stated would occur. They do not have to hold hearings.

I think we can put this thread to bed... We've now heard from Peter Doocy on the Biden speech, with the 100% most MAGA and dumbest thing I'll read all day (if I logoff of PF.com right now)

    SNIP
“We were told, in no uncertain terms, this was not going to be a political speech, but we did hear the president twice talk about voting,” Doocy said. “Once to get the crowd going saying, ‘Vote, vote, vote,’ and then another time to say that people need to do their duty in 2022, which is a direct political statement made by the president here before he left town.”
    ENDSNIP

    https://www.yahoo.com/news/fox-news-peter-doocy-gripes-141620808.html

Asking people to vote is now a "direct political statement"?? I'd say that locks in the anti-Democracy aspect of MAGA

No... one single man shut this down... not "the Senate".... Garland wins a vote in the full Senate, and McConnell knew that.... So he shut down the voting option...

Trump is a fraud. He did nothing about this...

He gave 85% of the 2017 income tax cut to people making $400,000 a year after having promised he wouldn't cut the top rate.

He tried to take away healthcare from tens of millions of Americans.

If Republicans don't start pushing for an alternative to Trump—someone like Haley or Scott—they stand a good chance of reelecting Democrats in 2024.

In 1980, Ronald Reagan embraced rightwing Christians. This served Republicans well for a couple of decades, but has become a millstone as women have become a more powerful political force.

You should actually read that history book. Real wages in the 50's were about the same as now. But the gini coefficient was lower. Moreover the 50's were the high water mark of the unions.

Working on his Darth Sidious impersonation. Except he looks more like a senile 3 year old having a tantrum.

if it was still 60 votes, it would of had to be a center of the line pick to get republican votes

Independents are disgusted with all this nonsense. If someone is really “independent” they won’t vote for any of these clowns.
