    You need to read up on Fentanyl. It is mostly mixed in with other hard drugs.

    yep, immigration has to be at a pace where society can integrate them in, if it's too many it doesn't work, for them or us

    and I agree, we need to close the doors for a bit and integrate what we already have into society

    isn't that what I said, if they were legal, people would know what they were getting

    you never know what you're getting on the black market

    even with alcohol prohibition, many died from bad alcohol

    to be fair, republican played a roll, they told the world how easy it was to get in..... they heard this loud and clear..... so they came

    Congress needs to change the rules so that we can use common sense.... but I do not see that happening anytime soon

    we had a few bipartisan bills over the years, but they never get passed

    Duh. The desire to both oppose border security and support illegal immigrants sanctuary are political.

    The left has held these positions for decades, because they want votes.

    Knowing what they are getting does not prevent abusing them. Many people are prescribed pain killers or anti-depressants and get addicted to them. Making them more easily available does not solve the problem. It just creates a larger number of addicts with accompanying overdoses.

    The number of alcohol related deaths and illnesses went down significantly during prohibition.

    I'm actually quite amused. There's nothing like seeing abject hypocrites at the highest levels exposed themselves.

    The only thing they did a good job of was getting them the hell off of their Island within 24 hours.

    You are right. It has not stopped abuse.

    However, you gave the prohibition example. Alcohol related deaths and illnesses went down. Sounds like the drug war most likely prevented deaths. Not all, but how many lives have to be saved before you believe it is worthwhile?

    Sure, the busing is political. It’s the states who for so long carried the burden of illegal immigrants spreading the wealth. It also done to make those in states that support illegal immigration to feel the burden themselves in the hope something will be done about it.

    As for sanctuary cities, it's the old, "Not in my backyard," adage. If you're a sanctuary cities, you should be welcoming all the illegals who cross the border with open arms. If not, I agree, they're a bunch of hypocrits.

    The "welcoming" rich liberals at Martha's Vineyard lost their mins over like 50 illegals. There are places that get 5,000 and more! If the republicans don't use this low hanging bundle of hypocrisy fruit to their advantage then you know what? THEY DESERVE TO LOSE! I don't think their hypocrisy has ever been to the forefront like this before.
