This is a bombshell. Former Repub Congressman Denver Riggleman now senior technical adviser to the January 6 committee blows the lid off of the jan 6 insurrection revealing what the treasure trove of the text messages provided by Meadows reveals. Watch these two videos, the 60 minutes clip and the overtime clip and the last one is a short one on why he is speaking out.

Riggleman:....it [the data] really does suggest that there was much more coordination than the American public can even imagine when it comes to January 6.

60Min: You've called the texts from Trump's chief of staff Mark Meadows, the 'Crown Jewels', why?

Riggleman: It was a road map. It shows, actually, the evolution of the beginning arguments, from alternate electors, all the way through rally planning, all the way to day of --- it showed conspiracy theories, it shows the saturation of Qanon

    [...]

60Min: You've said these texts provide irrefutable, time stamped proof of a comprehensive plot at all levels of government to overturn the election. Irrefutable?

    Riggleman: Irrefutable....

It was certainly an interview worth watching. I'm just not sure how revelatory it was to folks paying attention. Hard to believe the 1/6 committee wasn't already at least aware of the disperate pieces of the story he wove together.
You already know the reaction from Trump apologists will be to dismiss Riggleman, labeling him as just another disgruntled never Trumper.

I've said many times that politics is humanity at its worst. Only one person has ever disagreed saying that war is humanity at its worst. But in war you know exactly what your enemy want to do. He wants to break your stuff and kill you. In politics there is no way to know.

Still stuck on Jan 6th huh? I'm trying to find threads of yours that highlight biden administration policies but somehow they all seem to be about Trump.
Are you secretly crushing on him? Is it that beautiful orange skin or thick full head of shiny blond hair. What about him do you love?

    No they don't!!

This is a clear example of "the call is coming from inside the house". Now, why don't the Jan 6th committee want to know the WH side of the call unless they already know 'who" and that 'who" is cooperating with the DOJ??!!

He was the committee's chief technical adviser and they were the ones who gave him the text. Of course they know.

They don't. This is true. But why not focus on what democrats did to actually have a coup then? You don't seem to ever be interested in that story. When it comes down to the asphalt here, you seem entirely unwilling to even try to explain that one...

From my POV Riggleman wandering off the reservation is more than a little self serving and not helpful.

The root of our problem in this country. It’s got absolutely nothing to do with government—our system and everything to do with man—our frailty.

Interesting take and yes he was a freedom caucus libertarian politician like Amash. My take on this was more to lean towards why the Jan 6th committee did not want to actively pursue the WH side or whether they already knew and some one was cooperating with the DOJ (IOW protecting someone). It could also have been the legal case to get that info might not have succeeded. Either way, I feel more informed by just knowing about the call and the odds of it being a simple coincidence.

The Republican reaction you predict is in the pattern of Trump/Republican denialism.

And, that is a solid reason for getting this event bolted down with hard evidence even though everybody in America must be aware by now that there was an orchestrated violent assault on our democracy.

The MAGA calls for ending our faith in democracy and actually working to ensure democracy fails is an assault on the most fundamental principle we stand for.

No democracy can succeed if the people lose faith in that method of government decision making. And, that is exactly what MAGA has spend YEARS working on.

It is the principle leading the MAGA/Republican party today.

Saying there wasn't a law against it is the most ridiculous defense imaginable.

So......not a bombshell was my point.

Meadows Was Kept Updated On Plot To Seize Voting Machines, Texts Show

A key player in MAGA World’s plot to have the federal government seize voting machines to undo the 2020 election made sure then-White House chief of staff Mark Meadows knew about the status of the plan, according to texts obtained by CNN.

The texts reportedly revealed that Phil Waldron — the retired Army colonel who created the notorious PowerPoint detailing strategies to steal the election on behalf of then-President Donald Trump — texted Meadows directly on Dec. 23, 2020 about a judge rejecting Arizona Republicans’ lawsuit demanding that state officials turn over election equipment.

Waldron, a devotee of Trump’s Bie Lie, reportedly complained that the judge’s dismissal of the suit would lead to “delay tactics” from the supposed perpetrators of his baseless election fraud conspiracy theories.

    Inflation/Stock Market
Never ending violent crime in liberal cities
    Illegal Immigration issues

Who are 3 people that have never been in my kitchen? Oh wait wrong jeopardy answer
What are 3 issues that should be getting a whole lot more attention from the liberals then the never ending Trump obsession that is just an attempt to distract from the real issues?

I am an independent that despises Trump, but I also despise the never ending attempts at deflection from the real issues by the liberals

There are 3 ways to quote on this forum

    1. Use the forum's open and close quote tags.

    2. Use " ".

    3. Italicized paragraph or sentence

    Or combinations of the above

If one is using italics for quotations, context will dictate if it's a quotation given that italics can be used for emphasis. If one uses italics for quotations and in the quotation a word wants to be emphasized then highlight it.

The context I provided was dialog format so it should be obvious.

    Crime doesn't have a party.

Blacks and minorities tend to live in cities Why? It's easier to survive in cities. They tend to vote for democrats because they perceive that Democrats care about them more than republicans do.

    Which is true.

    Now then.

Criminals take the path of least résistance, and it is logical given crime is more profitable in a city than in farm country.

But, to blame crime on liberalism is specious logic, and if you can't understand that, all the more reason not to vote for republicans.

What we do not need in government are stupid people.

On the issue if immigration, I will say this:

    1. No president in history has ever fixed the immigration problem. Like crime, it will always be a problem. America is the victim of it's own success, and people want to come here. More are coming here because they perceive that Biden isn't as mean as Trump is, which is true. His quality is a good quality, but it's not fair to blame the problem on a man who is more compassionate than Trump is. That's insane to do that.

    2. Trump took over 2000 children away from their parents, permanently, for a crime no greater than a Class B misdemeanor.

    3. Trump's hard line immigration policy has led to the labor shortage we are currently experiencing, and Senate Repubs do not wnat to work with Dems to get those immigration to the jobs that needed to be filled that Americans do not want.

Three million workers are missing amid the labor shortage, and 2 million of them are immigrants who never came to the US because of Trump-era policies

    https://www.businessinsider.com/imm...rtage-3-million-missing-workers-trump-2021-11

In short, we need to ease up on the hard liner policy. Let them fill those jobs. It's also causing prices to rise, yeah, and 'yall blame Biden for it.

Less immigrant labor in the U.S. contributing to higher prices

    https://fortune.com/2022/05/07/less-immigrant-labor-in-u-s-contributing-to-prices-hikes/

Are you beginning to see the insanity of the right, now?

    Yeah, I didn't think so.

There's been so much talk about an event two years ago, and in which the government hasn't proven a conspiracy. Except their attempts to argue about a few older men plotting to bring weapons to Washington and trying to tie that to the overall conspiracy. How goes that case, by the way? Conveniently, we haven't really heard of it since.

Point being, this, like Crossfire Hurricane(Trump being a Russian agent) it doesn't exist, and any critical thinking mind knows it doesn't exist.
