We are presented once againt with two possible choices, the first is status quo, which is slavery to a neofascist bureaucracy, and it's corporate lackeys. This is the choice represented by Joe Biden, and his democratic party incompetents, these are the people who wish to manage you me and the rest of us into a life time of perpetual slavery as toys for the Uber rich to play with and the bureaucracy to experiment upon at there whim. The other choice is Republicans the other choice is, potentially freedom if you are wise enough to grasp it. Yes the Republican party isn't perfect but there is no room for dissenting voices on the other side nor is there a choice other than slavery to the corporate oligarchy and its horde of government bureaucrats enforcing their every whim.
While we are at it, DONT FORGET TO VOTE IN MIDTERMS. Its even more important than the presidential elections.
I made my decision that I mentioned in another thread. As usual I am anti whatever party is in power I live in PA, will vote all Republican except Governor
If the GOP remains the party of Trump, then it is beyond saving. Even the Dems are preferable in that kind of situation.
I like that you vote for multiple parties. I'm assuming you like the policies of the democratic governor candidate more. (this is how voting should work IMO)
I wish both parties would find a better candidate. But I can't imagine anyone worse than Trump at this point. Not even Biden. ****, even Ted Cruz might be better, and it makes me almost vomit to say that.
More about a strong dislike for the Republican governor nominee. I wish there was a better option I never thought that I'd vote for Dr Oz, but I have soured big time on Fetterman
Room for dissenting voices as long as you're not dissenting from Trump that is. Your take on the Democrats is over-the-top sensationalism. It is true though that they have an uphill battle. In fact, if it weren't for Trump and the Roe decision, they probably would be much worse off. Your view of the Republicans shows you've kind of got them up on a pedestal. And I noticed that you only actually used one sentence to describe them, and even then in a fairly abstract way. You know they don't have much going for them either right now.
I live in PA too. There's no way I'd ever vote for a guy like Mastriano. Ever. Not a Fetterman fan, though not really much of a critic either. I do like Josh Shapiro.
ah yes, must choose freedom through perpetual bondage to an el supremo president for life or slavery to a guy who makes you wear a mask during a deadly pandemic. jeezus
Sorry, but the right is not about freedom. Each party pushes their own brand of overreach. The right wants to tell people who they can marry, would throw people in jail for smoking a plant, and would tell others they can't have an abortion. Lets not pretend that righties are not in bed with big money. You are right about Democrats. If you are a Republican, you are not pointing with clean hands. I will give you credit for the left being just a little worse!
LOL, thanks for finding appropriate words to describe the LOL I just did when I read the opine. Up is down and down is up in Trumplandia.
That assumes of course that you believe the nonsense pushed by the Democrats and even were it true this is entity minor cpared to what the Dems want.
That would be the one I'm talking we have to stop the insanity now. We can't afford to give the crazies two more years. Should we take back both we will keep top brass at DOJ explain their jackbooted thuggery until we can take the Presidency in 24. If we keep them busy defending themselves maybe they won't have time to pester anyone else.
Do you realize the Democratic Party leadership is now little more than a death cult, run by corrupt old oligarchs and spoiled children?
Nope the problem isn't that they don't like Trump it is that they distrust and dislike their own voters and the voters have had enough Neocon backstabbing to last us a life time. Trump one because he was the only candidate with a positive message. The neocons clintonites we're both telling us they were the best to manage America's decline Trump was telling us that didn't have to be. Now if all you watch is CNN, MSNBC, or one of the other would be fascist cost carrying alphabet soup folk you probably missed that fact.
Trump won because he wasn't Hillary Clinton, just like Biden won because he wasn't Trump. There may be reasons why the more America First folks voted for Trump, but that's not the reason he won. Those America First folks were always going to vote for the Republican candidate, just like the Hillary supporters were always going to vote for the Democrat. It was the independents and the undecideds that got Trump elected, and that same crowd that threw him out in 2020. I've got much less of a problem with America First as a political platform than I do with Donald Trump himself. The progressive woke culture was always going to spark an intense backlash. But you guys picked one of the most despicable terrible people you could find, and I don't have to exaggerate to say that. But you don't need to pick him anymore, you've got DeSantis. And while I'm no DeSantis fan, he's better than Trump. But unfortunately, the Republican party you described in your initial post is not the Republican party that exists. They have no more room for dissenting views than the Democrats do. The only difference is that the Democrats require you to be loyal to progressivism and the Republicans require you to be loyal to Donald Trump. But Republicans can overcome that obstacle by telling Trump "Thanks but no thanks" on a 2nd term. Not only will you be saving the Republican party from demagoguery, you're saving America from one of the worst presidents in living memory.
