CNN has more than a decade worth of BS to overcome. As a brand, it might have been better to scrap it entirely and try entering the market as something no one knows anything about.

It's like how poorly ESPN has devolved from being the coolest thing for sports on TV to the snooze fest it is today. CNN should just call it a day. Apologize to everyone for the BS it pushed, and leave.

 

Yep, what gets me is what motivates them to fake it. I do have speculations, on why though.

As to CNN’s newfound direction to target these fine folks, caused by their new owner, it makes sense to target the primary demographics that watch cable news. Even if they only have a few years left in them

Most media doesn't straight up lie.

Headlines and how much time they choose to give stories is based on what they think will cause them maintain their current viewers and/or add new viewers.

 

I've been going with al Jazeera for anything related to Ukraine. Certainly wouldn't source anything from ****ing CNN or RT

This is a psychological issue with your grasp of reality - nothing to do with current events.

 

Some may not, but all don't tell all the facts. If someone interviewed answers a question, it will be reported in an out-of-context manner and or not at all. Or a narrative that doesn't get all of the facts presented to the audience.

Yes, they're the worst. They got caught on more than several occasions. One of the prior bosses of CNN stood themselves down for lying. So if the leader lies, it all rolls downhill from there. A culture of lies, but this has changed now.
