Is Lying the only thing that Trump know how to do - Trump lies about special prosecutor

It seems that the only thing that Trump knows how to do is lie. What is worse is that his followers believe his lies and since his lies are about other people, he generates/stimulates hate as his way to get votes. He never looks and uses the issues (and his way to approach them) as his platform. His platform is all about "everyone is out to screw me and us, we need to fight back". It is all about fighting and not about promoting unity.

Here is a perfect example of this and it happened yesterday! It was lies about the special prosecutor picked for the investigation of him and lies about everything involved.



In this speech he says:

1) egregiously corrupt Department of Justice. Garland has proven to bend over backward to be non-political. In fact, the choosing of a special counsel is proof of that given that it further delays the prosecution of Trump
2) horrendous abuse of power. Abuse of power by investigating an insurrection, investigating lying about having the classified documents and lying about the documents being declassified?
3) I thought the investigation into the classified documents was over. The investigation has not been over at all. It has continued relentlessly.
4) I believed that my peaceful and patriotic speech on January 6th was resolved. Peaceful and patriotic speech that went on to become an insurrection, killing and harming people and desecration of our most important and sacred building (Capitol) in the U.S.
5) Justice Department just appointed a "super radical left counsel" to lead the new investigation. Never has Jack Smith ever shown any political bias toward anyone. Has never stated anything negative about Trump. Has never been involved in any action against Trump. Everything he has ever done in his life has shown him to be non-political and competent.
6) Lisa Monaco is a major Trump hater. She was confirmed by the Senate 98-2. If she was a major Trump hater, she would not have been confirmed by 98% of the Republicans in the Senate
7) this is a rigged deal, just like the 2020 election was. It has been proven over and over again that the election was not rigged.

Everyone of these statement made by Trump yesterday is a major lie. There is no truth in them at all. They were simply made to rile his base against the investigation of what he actually did, which was stimulate an insurrection, lie about having classified documents and lie about them beging declassified by him (using his mind).

When will his supporters realize that this man is a pathological liar who stimulates hate against the opposition in order to get elected and feed his ego?

 

He has been doing this so long, it comes natural to him. He does this to create attention for himself. He does this even when it really does not matter.

 

I no longer care what he or his supports say — about anything. I hope they feel like the entire system is against them to the point it impacts their physical and mental well-being.

Honestly, I don't know why we even bring up these topics for discussion. Trump and Fox have handed out their talking points and that's all we'll read.

We all accept that lying is one of the things that is found in politics. Nonetheless, all extremes are bad and Trump is the extreme of being a liar. His lies CREATE hate, disunity, and problems and never solves anything. Most politicians lie to get something positive for their constituents given that the other politicians on the other side are doing the same. In the case of Trump, he is not lying in order to benefit anyone other than himself. In addition, he does it to such as extreme that it is not acceptable at all. There is a limit to everything but Trump does not respect limits. Most (not all) do respect some limits.

Your post does not solve or clarify anything other than to say that we should allow extremes to occur. Worse, allow NEGATIVE to the country extremes to occur.

We are already seeing that. Whether there is anything that we as a society can do about it, legally and constitutionally, is the conundrum. The ONLY ones that can change course on this is the GOP itself. It seems this last midterm they finally realized to some extent, they have to change tactics if the GOP is to survive. How committed to that path of introspection is the only question left to be resolved.

I don't think he is lying...I am pretty sure he believes this but like the left he lives in a different reality than the real world sometimes. At least he understands simpler concepts like what a woman is.

You need to also take into consideration that Roy Cohn was his tutor. Read up on who Roy Cohn was and did and you will understand what I am saying. Roy Cohn was a conman and he taught Trump to be one. It is as simple as that.

To him a woman is just an object you can sexually assault because you are famous. To him a woman only has value if she is attractive. To him a woman is a trophy to be claimed.

#1 "egregiously corrupt Department of Justice" - That's a matter of opinion, obviously. Operation Crossfire Hurricane is evidence that supports that opinion. Knowing that the FBI used falsified evidence and lied to a FISA judge to obtain a warrant and the agents that did it were never punished, is hard evidence that the FBI is corrupt.

#2 "Horrendous abuse of power" - Another matter of opinion. Refer to all the investigations, over more than six years, that yielded no charges and they're still investigating. That's clearly an abuse of power.

#5 "Justice Department just appointed a "super radical left counsel" to lead the new investigation" - You don't know what Jack Smith's politics are and you certainly don't know the politics of his team. Look at all the anti-Trumpers that were on the Mueller team. If it turns out that Smith and his team are totally nonpartisan, then that will only mean Trump was wrong, not that he lied.

#6 "Lisa Monaco is a major Trump hater" - Monaco was on Mueller's team and had publicly criticized Trump in the past.

#7 "This is a rigged deal, just like the 2020 election" - This is definitely a rigged deal. No arguing that.

So, unless you want to ignore evidence and redefine what the word "lie" means, there are no lies on that list.
