LOL, you're really that upset about a movie franchise based off of a comic book from 50+ years ago? Lighten up Francis.
Did you see the movie? If you did, what did you think. You didn't, did you. Thought so. Please, tell us all what movie you have seen recently that you thought was great......let me guess, "2000 mules"
He seems to think that the movie is about the 60s political group and not a character created by 2 Caucasian men - Jack Kirby & Stan Lee 'Nuff said
Yeah, and the richest person in the world (adjusted for inflation) is Augustus Caesar..........but that's not how the world works.
If you love movies, it's a "must see" . I love movies but, to be honest, I never got what was so great about it. Oh, it's spectacular but Scarlet is so unlikable that it burns me.
Good for you... I WOULD GO -- IF They Paid Me... 3 Hours of sitting in a nice theater at $1,000/Per Hour would suit me just fine... ***(Kudos to the Producers to keep the franchise going after Boseman's Untimely Death).. As to THIS Sfuff (Quoted Below): (There seems to be an appalling lack of understanding being exhibited)... Here is the "claim"... Is one aware of what "Donkey Showers" are? Well, just in case, FYI... Here is a Video (of a Donkey Shower) from Australia... They are very Clean, Fresh, and Sanitary... And, even a Pretty Girl (in the Outback) avails herself... (Of course, no nudity is involved. Just good "clean" fun...) Looks Fine (The Girl and The Shower) to Me... So? Why wouid anybody make a reference to a "Donkey Shower" and then post this Disgusting Image? ^That Image has NOTHING (Whatsoever) to do with "Donkey Showers"... It is of a man from a remote Mundari tribe in South Sudan taking a shower in Cow Urine... Since when did Cow Urine = "Donkey Showers"... (No need to thank me, it was a pleasure to always do my best to make sure that the Membership of PF are well-informed. It isn't a good look for Egregiously FALSE Information to be floating around PF)... You're Welcome...
Didn't see that or the animated children's movie Strange World, where Disney explores teenage boy homosexuality. Disney is losing 100s of millions on Strange World.... possibly the worst movie ever made. For entertainment, I watch youtubers taking a dump on Disney. They have the creativity that Disney lacks.
Well, I actually saw the movie. I didn't like it. I didn't like the first one either but I can speak about them because I actually saw them. 'Nuff said? You are right about the blaxplotation films though
All-Time Great Movie... Keeps interest throughout the almost 4-Hour Run Time... If not the Greatest Movie Ever Made, it is certainly one of the Greatest Ever Examples of Storytelling on Film... Deservedly takes it Rightful Place in the "Big 3" Pantheon: (Along with Casablanca and Citizen Kane)
No critics dared to say anything negative about this movie if they like their career and family life. They will vote as the best picture just like they did to the first one.
Well, that's just how it was done Can imagen what a billion dollars could buy you in 1940! Bare in mind that one billion is 1000 millions
What I'm upset about is pissing away $30 on a movie that scared out of their **** movie critics said was one of the best movies ever. I know a good movie when I see one and Black Panther was one of the worst pieces of garbage I've ever seen. If anyone on here wants to piss away $30 on Wakanda forever, be my guest, I'm just trying to save people on here the trauma of going to see this movie and realizing I was right and that I tried to warn them.
I'm so happy you Googled all that information and educated me, now when there is something I'm unsure of, I'll send you a private message and see if you can pull up Google and research it for me.
First one was a very good movie. I don't recall any critics saying it was one of the best films ever, maybe one of the best comic book movies. Reviews below - if there were a bunch of critics saying the best ever, then I just missed Black Panther - Rotten Tomatoes Now critics loved Avatar as well and I thought that film sucked. Everyone has different tastes. As a frequent visitor to comic book message boards, comic book fans were big on Black Panther.
So this post inspired me to look at what's actually playing at the movie theater. And out of the 18 theater cinema that I looked at it was six or so movies. Four of which I've never even heard of. One called Bones and all which looks like crap. If I was spending money to go to the movie theater the only thing there that I would watch right now is wakanda forever it's the only thing that looks even the slightest bit interesting. This isn't a problem with a increase in black nationalism it's a problem with absolutely bankrupt Hollywood producing talentless garbage. Outside of the top gun remake there is nothing I've wanted to see at the movie theaters in the past 10 years. Star wars is a disaster all superhero movies are exactly the same and thus boring. I'm putting this era in the movies about like the '70s. There are a few gyms that stood out but most of it's crap.
Look at what it's playing against. The only thing I've seen any ads for is bones and all and it seems to be a movie about cannibalism as far as I can tell so it's probably not very good. I've noticed a steep decline in entertainment in general in quality at least. Most of the very popular shows I've seen on streaming within the Sci-Fi genre at least all have the exact same plot because it's talentless hacks writing this garbage. Broadcast TV is not much better I watched a few episodes of the quantum leap reboot and it sucked up. Now watched two episodes of interview with a vampire and it sucked. Yellowstone is the only thing I've not just completely thrown up watching but it's kind of trailing off. And in reality it's just a giant soap opera it's a wild west setting. I have enjoyed very much watching resident alien. If I was going to the theater and I wanted to be entertained the only thing there that seems entertaining is the Black Panther spin off. I think the only reason it's doing any good is because it's probably the only thing entertaining in the theaters right now.
I thought it was OK, it wasn't a bad movie, but it's hard to make a Black Panther 2 when the actual Black Panther is killed off screen and most of the movie there is no successor. Frankly, I've not been super awed about any of the phase 4 MCU movies. Even the good ones are just "eh...it's OK."
