Ah, the MAGA tears are falling the the desert.

Indeed, Maricopa County has certified it's election, probably because it was fair and accurate, without troubles.

Will the MAGA candidate file lawsuits? probably. Will any of them be based on anything other than rants from the Swamp Palace about nonexistent voter fraud? Probably not.

    https://thehill.com/homenews/campai...to-certify-2022-election-over-gop-objections/

Supervisors in Arizona’s Maricopa County voted unanimously to certify their election canvass ahead of a state deadline on Monday, defying Republican objections.

Arizona gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake (R) and others in the GOP have seized on printer malfunctions in Maricopa County, Arizona’s most populous jurisdiction that includes Phoenix, making it an epicenter for election challenges as they called on supervisors to vote against certification.

The Republican-controlled board voted unanimously to certify the canvass on Monday at the conclusion of a tense meeting, insisting no voter was disenfranchised. Dozens of residents spoke about their concerns, at times interrupting supervisors, including some attendees who were escorted out of the room.

“These conversations need to focus on real issues. We can spend the next two years as we’ve spent the last two, fighting over conspiracy theories promoted on social media by people who know nothing about —” Maricopa County Recorder Stephen Richer (R) said at the meeting before he was cut off by boos from attendees.

I'd be comforted if it weren't for the fact that the objections will continue for every upcoming election they fail

Ah, but in Cochise County, your vote does not mean crap.

Indeed, members of the Orange Stain have voted to not certify their elections, effectively tossing the votes of everyone for the time being.

    https://www.npr.org/2022/11/28/1139447507/arizona-midterm-election-results-cochise-county

Officials in rural, Republican-controlled Cochise County in southeastern Arizona, near Tucson, voted to delay certifying the results of this month's midterm elections and miss the state's legal deadline of Monday, despite finding no legitimate problems with the local counts.

"There is no reason for us to delay," said the Democratic chair of the county's board of supervisors, Ann English, whose vote was outnumbered by the county's two Republican supervisors, Tom Crosby and Peggy Judd.

The move risks the exclusion of more than 47,000 Arizonans' votes from the state's final, official tally, and it has set off court action. The nonprofit Arizona Alliance for Retired Americans and a Cochise County voter, represented in part by the Elias Law Group, are suing the county supervisors to try to force them to certify by Dec. 1.

Well, I understand Arizona needs the water, so MAGA tears could actually be useful in this case.

Also, while Maricopa was fair and accurate, you contradicted yourself saying "without troubles". Maricopa did have that election day issue, but they worked through it and got everybody to vote. Instead of being eviscerated, election officials should be celebrated for working through the issue.

On the Cochise post, the article I read said that if Cochise doesn't certify by some deadline, that could officially change the results in 2 races to a Democrat, including a House race.

    Are they THAT stupid??

Ah yes, for the umpteenth time in the dying US of A, liberty and the rule of law die to thunderous applause.

Actually, the "thunderous applause" is for competent people doing their jobs...

You are against people completing their (state) constitutionally mandated duties??

    True anarchy that...

As you worshipped Fauci for his most excellent administration during these last 2 years, so too you worship the Deep State Pawns in Arizona and elsewhere who are in the business of rigging elections.

I actually worship Deep State Prawns. The advantage is after a service, if I am hungry, well, I simply eat what I worship.

That being said, as far as I can discern, the last few elections were not rigged.

I suspect you feel that way because you have avoided examining details that might contradict your world view. A sort of willful ignorance, if you know what I mean. I have 3 lawyer friends who happen to be Democrats. Their minds are so closed that each and every one of them resolutely refuse to watch 2000 Mules.

I've never tried Deep State Prawns, but I do like shrimp.

You claim to think for yourself. Is that just a slogan, or do you actually do what you say?

Don't take my word for it, watch it yourself and reach your own conclusion, if you dare think for yourself.

I worship no man or group...

I respect people capable of doing their jobs

I detest people who hate people for doing their jobs

Arizona ran quite possibly the worst set of statewide candidates in the history of US elections and are likely to go 0-3.

That you are surprised at that result is amazing...

You've missed the boat, living there in your box.

In the last 20 years or more it has been shown conclusively that many big events called 'conspiracy theory' by the state and its media have eventually turned out to be Conspiracy Fact. Sad but true. If you ever get out of that box, that prison of lies so many live in, you will realize it. :peace:

Here's the latest from Planet Arizona...

    https://www.yahoo.com/news/arizona-set-legal-battles-county-100013121.html

Here's how you know you are out on a limb that has already been sawed 75% through

    SNIP
The Cochise county attorney will not be representing the supervisors in these lawsuits, instead requiring them to get outside counsel, county attorney Brian McIntyre confirmed on Tuesday.
    ENDSNIP

So that's a possible hidden benefit to this.... slowly bankrupting 2 idiots...

Those names again - Tom Crosby and Peggy Judd

I don;t know. Do you think a convicted felon, like D'Souza, a right wing propagandist, like D'Souza and a pathological liar, like D'Souza, is a good place to get factual information?

I rather thought that might have been your response.

Your claim to thinking for yourself is a bogus claim, a pretense. You and my 3 Democrat liberal lawyers, all afraid to glimpse the truth.

As one of Jack Nicholson's many characters noted in the courtroom, "you can't handle the truth." Pity, that describes most of America, though it seems to be changing these days.

    Colbert jumping on this story

    https://www.yahoo.com/news/stephen-colbert-calls-arizonas-election-095745865.html

I'm torn on this.... While I want this county's votes to be discounted from the State for sheer stupidity, I do understand why they are being sued by Democratic organizations.

Does anybody think the GOP would sue anybody if there was a chance the votes in a Democratic leaning county would be discounted??

No... because fewer votes is the GOP goal in every situation, even ones where they would benefit....

Amazing how many on the right actually believe that there exist boiler rooms where people fill out ballots, stuff them in ballot boxes, and then they are all accepted and counted as actual votes.
