Your claim was that he was for transgender athletes competing in the Olympics and when you realize such a claim does not exist out there, now you switch it to he did not complain about the Olympic rules? As far as celebrating the inclusion of transgender in his beauty Pageant, that is entirely different. The whole thing with fairness in competition is solely about the physical advantage that biological men have over biological women in regards to athletic competition. To conflate those into the same thing is just not legitimate even slightly.

You cant truly think that. If somehow you are being serious and believe that is what it says, please cut and paste what part in that article you think conveys that concept and we can discuss.

 

What all this has done is it's made all these contests worthless, as well as such awards as Time Magazine's woman of the year where Jenner won but is not woman. Also when it's all about politics, for example Eurovision Song Contest.

So all I do is avoid the stuff. I don't watch the programmes, I don't buy the magazine etc.. I just leave them to it. If the majority did that, the advertising and sponsorship will dry up

Had Trump not supported transgender athletes competing in the Olympics he wouldn't have CONFLATED the Olympic rules on Transgenders as his go to for permitting Transgender beauty contestants.
As far as I know to this day he has yet to condemn either, Transgenders in beauty contests or the Olympics.
Yet there's lots of time to 11-24 and he'll say and promise anything for votes and donations so stay tuned.

Those are two entirely separate concepts. Supporting one does NOT mean one supports the other. He wasnt commenting on whether he thought trans SHOULD be able to compete in the Olympics, rather he was basically saying 'hell if they are allowed compete in the Olympics, SURELY they should be allowed to compete here.' It is pointing to something extreme, and then saying well if that extreme is OK, then of course so is this thing that is far less extreme. Using that to argue for the less extreme is in no way an endorsement of the more extreme. It is only an endorsement of the less extreme. You already know this, yet you persist regardless.

Its also a weak case because the olympics is an INTERNATIONAL event. The ONLY way these people can try and make any kind of point is usually to time travel to completely NON RELEVANT events
