I guess the boosters didn't work. I wonder if she has the new variant supposedly going around? It would be interesting if the Usurper caught it as well at his age.

yes, the vaccine trains your immune system to fight the virus if\when you do get it

the vaccine does not act like a condom that repels the virus

I've had it and the two jabs and first booster of Moderna. I am taking a COVID test right now waiting for the results. I am coming down with something not good. It feels a little like COVID. I was super jittery a few days with sinuses and sneezing mostly before I tested positive. That is how I am feeling now.

She got the China virus that can’t be transmitted or caught if you’re jabbed? I thought this was a pandemic of the unvaccinated.

But hey, the good news is her dress designer found a new batch of hippie Volkswagen seat covers which will continue to provide her with apparel fit for the person who wanted the glamour of being the First Lady while sacrificing her own husband to do it.

You’ve shown no signs of concern for her health. I guess you don’t care either.

Vaxxed seven times, boosted 12 times, and she's still sick. But she won't die. Not because most people don't die from COVID, but because she's seven times vaxxed and eight times boosted.

Staying classy as ever....compare your response/s with that of Biden's over Mitch McConnell's health problems...

Should we "care" for the common cold? COVID was a hoax. That's all.

I am not surprised. We are experiencing another covid wave right now, but the media are almost silent abut it. Labor day travel and family get togethers won't help matters.

I came down with covid Monday last week. Was pretty sick for a couple of days and it went straight to my lungs. Even on the first day, my O2 saturation already was down to 95% (normal is 98-99%). I got paxlovid and that solved the problem. My wife tested positive, too, but she didn't have any symptoms. She had a really bad bout with covid in May 22. Go figure....

BTW: I got my last booster in October 22. I had covid last in May 22. The problem with the vaccines and natural immunity: Immunity wanes after a few months. Plus, the virus mutates with new variants ever getting better in evading immunity.

Now, people assume covid is over. It is not, we'll have new waves going through now and in the future. Luckily, we have a much better tool set to deal with it than in Feb 2020. But, if you are in the high risk age range or have other risk factors, it is better to protect yourself until this wave blows over.

Hope that Jill gets better soon.

If she's vaxxed, she shouldn't have been infected. Biden et. al. said time after time that the vaccine would keep you from getting infected.

Remember when people were saying this was a "pandemic of the unvaccinated"?

A lot of people are testing positive with COVID-19 because of the new Strain. But then again, Trump promised in February that Covid would not hit these shores, and yet it did. And then when it did, he reassured the public that this is isolated and so forth.

According to the CDC, the number of admissions for COVID nationally will increase from 1700 to about 9700. So, yeah, this new strain is coming.

Depending on when you had the booster will depend on your immunity from the new strain. But boosters and those who supported getting them never argued that it would totally prevent Covid, just mitigate it. And getting Covid may be asystematic or systematic depending on your health history.

Not necessarily. If you have the flu shot, a vaccination, you may still get the flu. If you had chicken pox as a child and now are an adult, which shingles may occur, then the shingles vaccination may or may not prevent you from getting shingles. So why should Covid be any different?

LOL, you are another one who does not comprehend the word mitigation in the scientific community.

Local media here did report it when school started and even suggested, strongly suggested to see your physician if you want to see if a booster is right for you. Also, hospitals and doctor's office's are implementing required masks for those who deal with suppressed immune systems such as cancer, end-stage renal disease, diabetes, and other medical issues.
