    Interesting thing about the word "and" when it comes to lawyer talk. Some people think "and" means the same thing as "or", it doesn't. the word "or" itself has several different meanings depending on if and where a comma is placed.

    You see the second amendment is a right to bear any arm whatsoever. The 2nd enumerates two rights. One to keep arms, one to bear arms, and these rights are not to be infringed upon by the State.

    Running down the street pointing your handgun around at arm's length while robbing a bank is not covered by the second amendment- Heller said.

    It’s very common for anti gun folks to be highly ignorant of facts. Probably why they are so fearful. Humans (and other animals) often fear things they don’t understand.

    They serve the same purpose as a muffler on a car. They reduce annoyingly loud and irritating noise. Hearing is important.

    Unless it's a govt building with metal detectors, I rely on the "concealed" part of CCW. Checking my PO box, for example.

    Yes that's correct. One could make a strong case that prohibiting concealed carry is not covered under the nuances of the term "to bear".

    Oh that's easy we own guns. The hoplophobe crowd things the very term responsible gun owner is an oxymoron. Of course we believe the term rational gun banner is an oxymoron but our case is much better.
