That would kill not just Hamas fighters, but MANY civilians. It would present Israel in stark relief, as perpetrating a genocide (with which, you apparently have no problem ). It would also possibly, I'd say likely, lead to our ceasing to provide Israel any more MOABs.

Hamas didn't concern themselves with civilian casualties when they attacked, what if they had MOAB bombs and delivery methods?

 

The US is giving them a % of the loot, making it too lucrative for them to stay the f out.

 

Nothing is ever going to change as long as our alleged ally in NATO--Turkey--continues to refuse to allow us use of their airspace to bomb the stuffings out of Iran.

To answer your question one suggestion is that once Hamas is cleared out - which is nothing we can do anything about, to allow the opportunity for peacekeepers from other more friendly Arab nations to keep an eye on Gaza strip, rather than Israel. I don't think Israel wants Gaza land or cares about it too much.

If Israel can go on defense, they might have a chance to keep these so-called Hamas at Bay. I hope Israel won't end up like Afghanistan.

 

Since Hamas doesn't have them, and are unlikely to be able to get anything of such magnitude smuggled past Israeli blockades/check points, your question is moot. Also, there are now Israeli hostages in Gaza, which would prevent the wholesale destruction of the land & people.

That said, now hearing that Israel's death count has risen to 600, it seems a certainty that, sooner or later, Israel will conduct major military operations in, that is, will judge it needs to invade, Gaza.
