You're supposed to be a lawyer. Figure it out.

What would happen if you were the head of the DA's office, you hire someone to do a job that they weren't qualified for, and paid them higher than you could have gotten someone with experience in such cases, and then who took you out on thousand dollars' worth of vacations?

What would happen if you were caught being hired by someone for a job you weren't qualified for, who also paid you higher than normal, and you took that person who hired you out for multiple lavish vacations using that money you made due to the case you were hired for, that again, you didn't actually have the qualifications to do.

This isn't rocket science. If I know what this means, surely as a lawyer you should also.

Edit: Oh, also, as a DA what would happen to you if you threatened the spouse of the person that you hired with a criminal obstruction charge because as part of their divorce proceedings you had information relevant to the divorce case and as normally happens in divorce cases you were subpoenaed for that information. But you didn't want to testify because it would hurt the person that you hired, and possibly you also.

Where is your evidence which supports any of that?

Read the thread. Plenty of links showing all of that. I don't need to repost them just because you don't want to read the whole thread.

I notice that you also didn't highlight the last paragraph with the edit. Probably because you know its true. You also did not address it. Wanna give it a try and answer it?

I've read all that can be read, and there is NO evidence of incompetence etc you refer to. In fact, it seems the bloke is more than competent and appropriately qualified.

    As for this:

You'll have to put that in better grammatical English. It is all over the place. I'd also need context.

I'd also love to know WTF resl significance ANY of this stuff has you less you can show me where the rights of Humpty have been adversely affected.

Perhaps you should re-read post 114 then.

Also, I'm pretty sure you know the context and understood that paragraph just fine. Otherwise, you would have highlighted it just like you highlighted those other parts of my post.

Post 114 is a joke isn't it? 'Fruits of the poisoned tree!" Absurd. What evidence was obtained illegally?

The bloke and the sheila were involved in a racketeering scheme. THAT is what's at issue, here.

I just don't get it. WTF does it matter to the prosecution of Humpty? Please quote from that Pleading instead of asking me to read through the matrimonial crap to find some nugget you reckon is there.

So....um...what are these 'fruits of what poisoned tree?'

The Clarence Darrows here are dreaming so you'll have to explain it.

It matters because the 19 defendants are guaranteed the right to a fair and honest trial.

The conduct of Wills and Wade bring that into question.

You see, in The United States, the legal system has rules and one of those rules is that you can't prosecute someone for personal enrichment and political gain. YMMV in your country.

The DA and the special prosecutor were commiting at least one felony.

That felony is the poison fruit. Willis committed another felony last week by trying to use her prosecutorial power to intimidate a witness.

Please, do expound and I think if the allegation re Willis and the SP is unethical and a very bad look professionally, maybe even to the point of one or both of them recusing but racketeering bro? Square that circle for me, thanks?

Being the "'fruits of what poisoned tree " doctrine is a US thing and not honored in Australia.... A politically motived prosecution is the poisoned tree.

Once again our DOJ will fail us... "That's what will have to be determined?" Will go no where.... The people responsible to look into it will not do their jobs...

    Oh wait.....

coming to the rescue again..... our Congress has to do their job for them...AGAIN....
A politically motived prosecution may well be discovered in the many trips Wade and Big Fani to the WH before hand... when they look into those little "issues"

Although Fani Willis has so far refused to cooperate with the Committee's oversight, invoices that Nathan Wade submitted for payment by the FCDAO, and made public as part of a court filing, highlight this collusion.

Gosh, you folks really do go from 0 to 60 in the blink of an eye. From what I have read Mike Roman's filing against Willis contained no evidence, just an allegation. As of now we're short on details other than there was an affair between Willis and Wade. So, pun intended, the jury is still out.

Should Fulton County Superior Court Judge Scott McAfee grant a motion disqualifying Willis and her office, the decision on who takes on the case would be made by the Prosecuting Attorneys’ Council of Georgia, according to Pete Skandalakis, the head of the agency. But it would likely not be a quick decision.

If it all goes Don's way the best scenario he can hope for is the case gets re-assigned. Which means delayed, his ultimate goal.

I'm interested in one of the most important criminal cases that has ever taken place in the state of Georgia and the corruption that is taking place. If you check my posting history you'll find I was extremely interested in this case and was talking about the ethics and process even before it was known that Wade was spanking his Fani. The only reason their personal life is being talked about is because it is directly related to the case. I'm not talking about what their favorite color is or how many kids they have, etc. I don't care at all about the details of their personal lives that do not influence this case. I have been focused on the details that will become an issue in this case and what they will need to explain to the judges.

Unqualified is different than incompetent. @Kal'Stang questioned his qualifications, not competence, in this post. This is a fallacious argument. Reframing his post to mean something else and then attacking that reframing is a horrible debate tactic and everyone sees that for what it is. He very well may be competent and capable in certain areas of law, but he has never tried a felony before and he has no experience working on a RICO case that anyone has been able to find. He's a horrible choice to prosecute an ex-president. There are people on Fani's staff who are far more qualified. If they needed more help he should have been brought in to help them with misdemeanors and petty crimes while a qualified attorney on her staff handled this case. But, she wanted to work this case with her lover and probably wanted to help his career. And she got to reap some rewards from the salary she has been signing over to him.

So everyone can see, this is the post you twisted into a pretzel in order to engage in a blatant fallacy.

This has already been talked about in this thread. Others have brought it up also. I myself did in post 114. And no, that isn't the best that Trump can hope for believe it or not. It will be all up to the next person that gets assigned the case next. They will have to comb through everything that Fani gathered. Conduct their own investigation also in order to make sure nothing was missed or compromised. Then decide if they are able to succeed in a prosecution. They'll even have to decide on what GA laws, if any, Trump broke. They may stick with the same charges, choose news ones, or even just drop the case altogether. All that is in question is what path the new prosecutor will take. There is also the possibility that what happened was egregious enough to get the whole case moved to a different district. A district that doesn't have as many people hostile towards Trump. Maybe even one that is sympathetic to Trump. Which can affect the outcome of any trial. Note, no one knows for sure if this will happen, its just a possibility. And the choice would more than likely be randomized also.

Fani and Wade have already accomplished one thing Trump likes, that is the delay of the case. They really F'd up here.

They should at least try and find a DA that did not campaign on "get Trump" from the start... some might not pickup that it makes it a political prosecution, but there are some folks aren't that easily fooled..

Wades wife provided receipts of part of the impropriety when she made a filing in divorce court. Receipts showing that Wade spent thousands of dollars on cruises and vacations in which he took Fani with him. The receipts literally have both Wade's and Fani's names on them.

Wades wife is trying to prove that he is hiding a bank account and is not reporting the full amount of money that he has, as is required in any divorce court proceeding. Part of doing that is providing the above mentioned receipts. Another part of doing that is she subpoenaed Fani as she is Wades boss and is able to testify as to what Wade makes, not to mention can also testify as to Wade cheating on his wife. Fani then tried to get a restraining order on Wades wife (don't know if its succeeded yet or not). Fani also threatened Wades wife by saying she is obstructing her criminal election-interference case against Trump. Any competent lawyer would take that as a threat (and her lawyer did and made a separate filing about it). And anyone that knows anything about law knows that "obstruction" is a crime. So it was an obvious threat. Which is an abuse of power as Wades wife's divorce proceeding has absolutely nothing to do with Trump, but most definitely does involve Fani.

This isn't the first time Fani decided to prosecute her political rivals in relation to the 2020 election. In 2022, a judge kicked her and her office off a case when she was going after the Republican Lt Gov candidate. Again, waiting until the headlines of her prosecution would influence a campaign. A judge decided she and her office could no longer even question witnesses due to ethics issues. Jones, the Lt Gov candidate, was part of the "electors scheme" that Fani wanted to prosecute. Any other prosecutor in the state could have took over the investigation and filed charges. But, it ended up dying once Fani's corrupt office was removed. She's again attempting to prosecute this "electors scheme" in the RICO trial. If she gets disqualified for ethics reasons, again, it's likely everything just goes away. The charges are already dubious at best. It's not even clear if a law was violated and if the prosecution is constitutional in the first place.

    There's evidence, now...lol.

Jocelyn Wade presented Nathan Wade's credit card statements with Willis' name on them.

We also have Fatty Willis publicly threatening Jocelyn Wade with prosecution. That witness tampering (a felony).

Sorry, but the days of, "there's no evidence", have passed.
