Absolutely. It is amazing how people cannot recognize that both parties serve the same masters, and it sure as hell isn't the American people. The American people have become nothing but batteries for the elite to drain, allowing the people to have just enough to keep people pacified and willing to work, but divided enough to never seriously question who is pulling the strings. People are too caught up in the illusion the two party 'uniparty' presents to question what is really going on. They are freaking out over **** like wars, abortion, the border, gun rights, the first amendment, etc, not even realizing that it is the two party system that are causing these divisive problems in the first place. And the issues are carefully chosen to keep around a 50-50 division, with parties flip-flopping on their stances on some issues when the 50-50 tie comes close to being jeopardized. The goal of the uniparty is division, in order to keep the wage slaves distracted and desperate.

    Very true.

Why is it some of us see the scam and others don’t?

I disagree it's hopeless. The real issue is within the courts, that is where, State and Federal jurisdiction get all kinds of breaks.

Need to hold elected officials more accountable, including jail time.

Dream on. Our justice system is just as corrupt and unfair as everything else. Yes, there are still good law abiding judges in the system, but not enough of them.

Interesting you say that because I think it’s thoroughly corrupt per se, it’s working as it was designed to, but that design just gives everyone the illusion of fairness. This could arguably also be said of the feds in general.

Well to start, we need grass roots movements to get at fairness in the courts. It is one thing to be aware, and another to act. Just dreaming and complaining does nothing.

Rich people "getting away with it" is a global thing that isn't restricted to one country.

For that to happen, everyone needs to abandon the two party system. It is as simple as that. That will put power in those not beholden to the system, and eventually the courts will follow. People have been brainwashed into thinking that voting for an independent is the same as throwing your vote away or helping the 'other guy' to win. That is part of the evil genius of the two party system. It tricks people into thinking that voting for an alternative is to hand power to 'the enemy'. It is insane how people have bought into these lies hook, line, and sinker.

So, the answer is to simply refuse to vote for either a democrat or a republican. Break the system. That is all it would take.

Do you think the United States should take on the policies of those nations that have surpassed us?

While this is only one cohort — Notice anything?

I agree but again, we suffer under an enormous and corrupt federal government who’s job is to protect itself and the elite who control it. They have too much power. I fear it’s too late for grassroots citizenry groups to unseat this power.

Well Citizens United didn't help independents. That aside, it doesn't have to be abolished, but I think if a grass roots push were to take place it can happen.

Where I think you are most correct is the us vs them, no one is innocent of it, but if we can start there and expand from that, it has a chance. Right now there's the no labels or something along that line, that if properly nurtured, it would force the 2 larger parties to pay attention.

I can't speak or say what you need to do, but for me, anytime I interact with govt, or big business, i.e., I document, file complaints, but it is important to get it on record.

I'm doing it now with cable and cell phone, as well as the FCC. Whether or not I get anywhere, at least there is something.

It's a slow and painful process, but I feel it is necessary and I sure as heck don't care of the political party of the state AG nor my federal rep. It is frustrating, but again I don't want to give up.

I think the following is applicable…

America’s relative freedom, small government, responsible citizenry and self-determination led to unending wealth and creativity. (All gone now)

Look at any set of problems we now face: the corruption of public health, the economy built on debt and financialization, the stolen voting, the theft of our resources, the growing biomedical security state and you will find this same methodology. It works for every problem. It is the Mark of the Beast. Everywhere there is injustice, theft of the people’s energy, this is the system they use to oppress and silence us. to impoverish the future, to ruin the present. This is how they steal elections and destroy independent businesses.

Democrats have half the country believing they are being victimized. It's no wonder Americans are no longer in the top 20 rating.
