A new book dealing with 9/11 - "THE 11TH Day" by husband/wife team of NY Times reporters Anthony Summers & Robyn Swan. Goes into detail about Saudi Arabian involvement with Bin Laden and the hijackers before 9/11 - the authors describe a deal where Saudi Arabia funneled hundreds of millions to Bin Laden in order to prevent his extradition. They also present evidence of Saudi involvement with 9/11 hijackers inside US - Saudi clerics and agents met with them, gave them money and assisted their movements.

Other than an exerpt, is there a free online version of this book? Or do I have to pony up some cash or requisition my library or freeload at a bookstore again?

The 9/11 commission report argued that there was no evidence of any Saudi Arabian government involvement or funding in the 9/11 plot.

So which book can we assume is wrong?

Guess you'll have to look at the evidence and decide for yourself.

    I haven't finished the '11th day' yet.

Remind me, where does the 9/11 Commission Report state that there was no evidence of Arabian involvement or funding?

"The 11th Day" shows evidence of certain charitable organizations and individuals diverting funds to AQ.

Just as the 9/11 Commission reported.

    Still reading.

Of course charitable organizations diverted funds to AQ, that's how Islamic terrorism is funded, it's laundered to Muslim "charity" organizations the same the IRA used to be funded by "charitable" organizations in the States.

That's how terror hides it's money.

That some of the charities etc were Saudi is of no surprise to me at all. Osama was a Saudi and it seems to me that most of his organization would be funded and staffed by rich, ideologically aligned Saudis.

    Right I need clarification..

I thought you were referring to Saudi Arabia, as a nation, not individuals who are Saudi. Also clerics and "agents".. Which agents?

You said "Saudi Arabia" funnelled the money.

Do you not mean that now? What agents?

So you don't know if it's true or not?

Why are you promoting literature for sale when you don't know if it's true or hogwash? You might be doing the same thing as Gage!

"... we have found no evidence that
the Saudi government as an institution or senior Saudi officials
    individually funded the organization [AQ]..."

Keep reading, that's not the final word.

Finished the book, it was very gripping and quite revealing. Recommended.

    Good you finished..

So who got it right? The 9/11 commission report or this "gripping" book?

    Which one's the snake oil?

Neither, they compliment each other. You should have a look, they mention you in "The 11th Day".

    Are you serious!??!!!?

    :omg:

You're going to sit here and claim that:

" ... we have found no evidence that
the Saudi government as an institution or senior Saudi officials
    individually funded the organization."

    "compliments" the claim:

"They also present evidence of Saudi involvement with 9/11 hijackers inside US - Saudi clerics and agents met with them, gave them money and assisted their movements."

Read both fully, in context. Instead of focusing on minutiae and semantics, see the big picture.

You know ... do your research, 'truth seeker'.

Go on about "big picture" all you want; there can be NO picture big enough to accomodate such mutually exclusive terms. Both arguments as presented can't reconcile.. Reading any number of books can't change the laws of logic.

Then don't read either one and remain satisfied in a quagmire of ignorance.

Agree with them, or not, the authors are meticulous in their sourcing.

You didn't read one of the arguments "as presented". How can you say it doesn't reconcile?
