Pope starts Spain visit with call for economic ethics

By Judy MacInnes and Maria Ibanez

It's everything un-American => America is a nation of heretics

What the Curch needs to do is to ring all the Curch bells from South America to Europe, and from Africa to Nothern America and announce a Rerum Novarum 2.0 on par with the needs and realities of the 21st century.

Neo-fascism (= Conservatism) has wrecked the world and the Curch needs to fight against this most utter form of evil, in the process they probably will be able to win over millions of souls, including mine.

At the risk of defending the Pope, whom I despise, I don't see where he said anything close to "America Is A Nation Of Heretics".

Nothing in that article has a thing to do with America, nor is America even discussed.

Another glistening fail thread by janpor.

In the USA, the rule of the land is Neo-Fascism -- it's everything that goes against Catholicsm.

Ultimately the USA is a nation of heretics becaus Americanswill never settle for communalism, although it is the only way to eternal salvation.

Americans -- by the millions -- are going to hell.

    Sad.

Well, that is nothing more than your opinion -- and a rather crappy one if I may so.

Sure, America is not discussed perse -- but any rational person can make the link. It's like denouncing my OP if it would go about liquid water and I'm mentioning ice or something.

It's clear to any reasonable person that the USA has become a nation of heretics, and this (= you thinking my OP stinks) is besides the point.

This is about a Rerum Novarum 2.0. and Americans not following the teachings of Christianity.

I grew up a Catholic and can assure you without reservation that Catholicism has nothing much to do with Christianity.

Also without reservation - no American has ever, nor will ever, go to Hell.

First of all, he never mentioned America anywhere in that article. Second of all who really gives a (*)(*)(*)(*) what the pope thinks or says? America is secular and we don't answer to a fictional "leader".

    No,...

Americans like to consider themselves as "Christians" but they are nothing more than a nation of instutionalized heresy.

It's like the ultimate hypocrisy, from the American President laying his hand on the Bible every other four years, from the isigna on your currency to the self-proclaimed blessing: "God Bless America". Like Amero's command God or something?

It's simple: American don't walk their talk -- which is why y'all are going to Hell ulimately which is rather sad 'cuz Americans are good people in general, you just need a little help from us Europeans to rise to your potential.

This is a joke right? You realize most European countries have populations that are less religious than Americans right? For example Belgium, your own country only 43% believe in God while in the US 92% believe in God.

So maybe America can help the heretical Belgians find faith.

I said in the past, and I'll say it again: Europe is far more Christian than the USA.

We just aren't "bunga, bunga" about it. (maybe some get the joke, although they probably will be European ;))

For instance, the last day off for Belgians was August 15th, the Assumption Of Mary.

    Christians by country:
    Belgium 48%
    America 78%

Belgians are heretics and at least 52% are going to Hell.

Ok, so you brag about how cool and secular eurotard land is one minute, and call us religious extremist, and then when it suits your stupid agenda, you brag about how upright and Christian eurotard land is, and how we're all heathens.
Wow, can you a bigger (*)(*)(*)(*)ing hypocrite?

Oh ya, about your lame "bunga bunga" joke, concerning the Italian Pm, and his sex parties, what a stand up Christian that guy is.

Your thread, once again, is pathetic.

Can we put together some sort of mission to help save Belgian souls? Seems they are in mortal danger. As an Atheist I'm not qualified to do any of the actual 'saving' but I could make sandwiches for the trip and stuff.

    Sacred Maria!

There is no foam to be spotted at my mouth, after all -- I'm not a dog. I leave the foaming to the Americans.

On a more serious note, I'm just a bit worried if I'll see my American friends in heaven? The chance is very slim...*

    * Full disclosure: Okay, now I'm trolling.

Since so few Belgians go to Heaven I'd say it's not likely.

The whole facts and statistics thing doesn't register well with janpor. He's got a axe to grind, and won't let reality get in his way.

No, this is not neccessary -- thank you very much.

Whilst historically speaking, Belgium is a shining example of Liberalism, Christian-inspired policies were also implemented by the governments of national unity, just like throughout Europe, after WWII.

We may not have the Bible next to us whilst at sleep and we may not have a Christian insigna on our currency -- but it's clear to any fear-minded person that Belgians, just like any other European people, at least walk their talk.

Many people who consider themselves "atheist" are culturally Christian nonetheless.
