You know, using a bigoted slur for homosexuals is a great way to communicate your evolved opinions. I never did get how the so called 'liberal' party in American politics justifies their use of such an offensive term.
Good, we need a war against the top bracket and its influence. But aren't you going to claim that Pelosi is rich and therefore fights for the rich. Get your discreditted memes straight.
H.R.4853 (extending the tax cut for those making over $250K) CA 8 Rep. Nancy Pelosi Democratic Y http://www.votesmart.org/issue_keyvote_member.php?cs_id=32941 Just words - not actions
Didn't you know, only conservatives are offensive when they attack. Only conservatives use warlike rhetoric. It's all our fault.
The class warfare targeted at the top is misdirected. Liberals such as yourself, believe that folks that have, should be giving more to those that do not have. You folks like to blame the wealthy folks in this country for being successful, and somehow think what they have, is yours. Remember, the problem with socialism, is that sooner or later, you will run out of other people's money.
So many memes, so little time. Suffice to say, I don't want to blame anybody. I want to tax people with money since, generally, you shouldn't tax people who don't have money. But continue with your irrelevant talking points and spirited defense of Paris Hilton and her hard work in earning her fortune. Wait a minute . . .
So Pelosi's to blame for not taxing the top bracket more. It wasn't the Republicans at all! Again, you need to get your discreditted memes straight -- they're conflicting with each other.
I am saying you are placing your blind faith in a politician that says one thing to her base, and does something else for her contributors. I have no love for the Republicans, they are just as, but not more corrupt, than the Democrats. Both parties are staffed by the best politicians money can buy.
Everyone should be fairly taxed that makes money. Low income folks, who do not generate income, should not be receiving tax credits, and subsequently tax refunds. This is why I favor a consumption tax to replace payroll taxes. No more deductions or loopholes, and everyone who consumes, will pay taxes.
It's not fair to tax poor people at the same rate as billionaires. End of story. Your market evangelist meme is a total failure with people of normal ethical values.
I always love when conservatives give progressives advice on how to vote. It's a good indication that the opposite is the better course of action.
I disagree. It's not fair to punish those who are productive, because they are more productive. But we speak different languages obviously. You are a collectivist, and I am an individualist. We will always have an ideological divide. I'm curious though - would you be willing to put a gun to a man's head and steal his money? And then give it to a homeless man? Are you justified being a thief if you give it all away? Doesn't the person who earned that money have a right to keep it? How do you justify your claim on his life and liberty that he must be a slave to your pet projects?
You would be hard pressed to find a bigger hypocrite than Pelosi. The minimum wage was purposely kept down to make people dependent on credit?? Interesting that she would come up with the dependency theory since progressive initiatives have done a lot to keep/make people dependent on the government and, by extension, she hopes, on people like her.
Rich people aren't productive. And taxes aren't punishment. So you have two strikes against your post already.
Sure they do. The more one makes, the more they usually spend. In fact, I would guess that the wealthy consume exponentially more than the less fortunate.
