No, it takes a special kind of moron to make general comments about law enforcment and crime. Even today we have mayors and LEOs, running crime syndicates. I'd be willing to bet every major law enforcement agency has bad apples. At least 2 twice a year we read about another mayor or councilman getting popped for using their office, positition and authority to commit crime.
The commander in chief and SECDEF are the top two positions in the military chain of command. The mayor cuts ribons.. You've made a fallacious comparison. I'm just pointing out how you whined about me being a chinchilla biting at your heals, and yet when we get into it, it's always you butting in on chats with others, lobbying for my attention.. Just showing how hypocritical you were about it. Your heel-nipping isn't even relevant anyway.. If you actually followed the discussion you butted in on, you'd notice I was responding to someone's comments about how THEY said about trusting the leaders who were "charged by the voters to keep us safe." Speaking of having no comeback.. Want to revisit any of the vast plethora of threads where I refuted you in debate and you leave the thread to fall of the bottom of the page, with you having assumed the position of that cute little kitten in your picture?
I've tried to explain to you skeptics for ages but you never seem to grasp it: You don't necessarily need to know exactly when and where the strike is going to be, as long as you can find out WHO is to strike, then you can STOP THEM. Once in custody you can then possibly find out their plans in more specific detail. The fact is they KNEW about various terror supsects going to flight school, who were in on the plot and would one day carry it out. You people pretend like this isn't a good enough lead, because they didn't know the information about the attack BEFORE the leads were followed up? And what is this nonsense about protecting every last soft target? If they know a rogue plane is bearing in on DC, they must also protect some barn house in South Dakota? And it's not like the Pentagon is a "soft target".
