Because, technically, everything occurs at the molecular level in one way or another. Specifically, neurological and somatic processes are the result of a complex series of cellular and sub-cellular processes which are themselves the result of a series of molecular, atomic, and subatomic processes. Ultimately, all matter consists of atoms, which form the organic molecules that serve as the constituents of living tissue. In other words, there isn't a single process in your body that doesn't begin on the molecular, atomic, and subatomic levels.
The onus does not fall upon us to disprove the efficacy of each and every homeopathic remedy. On the contrary, it is on YOU, the claimant, to demonstrate their efficacy.
Unless they had sophisticated technology or were well educated in chemistry, there is no way they could accurately and precisely determine how much of the original ingredient was left in the mixture, especially if the ingredient was dissolved. Not even with a powerful microscope could you detect differences in the composition of a solution, as it is uniform in composition and phase throughout.
It doesn't work on the molecular level, all homeopaths would agree on that. That's why it's funny watching all the homeopath haters getting their knickers in a twist when saying it can't possibly work on the molecular level. Um, we know that. We never said it did.
No. I don't see what difference the size of the industry makes to the efficacy of the treatment modality.
It works on the quantum physics level as does all reported bull(*)(*)(*)(*) nowadays. It's like all the nut cases out there read something on quantum physics, didn't understand a word of it and thus decided that quantum physics was the answer to anything that they couldn't explain, or in this case, make up. How does ESP work? Quantum physics. How does past life regression work? Quantum physics How does homeopathy work? Quantum physics
No, but it might take magic for you guys open your minds from your narrow sense of how you think things have to work.
I am not really interested in doing that. I just don't understand why people would condemn something they have never tried. I haven't tried it, and I probably wouldn't either. I wouldn't waste my money on it. But if someone wanted to spend their money on it, then good luck to them. Why are people up in arms over what remedies other people choose to use?
Which has absolutely no relevance to the fact that every physiological process occurs at the molecular and atomic levels. Here's a tip: Take an introductory biology and chemistry course. It'll help you understand the absurdity of your position.
I'm not up in arms. If they want to use it, more power to them. But if they want to pretend like homeopathy has some kind of scientific backing, then I must challenge that assertion because it simply isn't true.
OK. I am curious. How does it work? How would the body be affected by a minute amount of a chemical dissolved in water?
I keep asking this. Would someone who believes in homeopathy explain to the rest of us how it works? Why do you keep dodging the question? Is it because you realize the explanation is so crazy?
Yes, people like you. People who had no understanding of science and simply attributed natural phenomena to mysterious forces which they could not adequately explain. Your entire position flies in the face of well-established principles of chemistry and physics, yet you have the gall to accuse me of being the scientific illiterate? The internet. A window into the unmitigated stupidity of the perpetually ignorant...
This is getting irritating. I did not ask "How does it not work?" Or maybe that is your intent: to cause irritation? I believe that is trolling. On the lighter side:
Because I want you guys to answer the question I posed on my thread: http://www.politicalforum.com/healt...-think-homeopaths-think-homeopathy-works.html And PS - the question is how do Homeopaths think Homeopathy works, not how do you think it works. A lot of idiots thought that's what the thread was about. I notice a lot of Homeopathy haters don't read very well.
And you obviously can't ready this thread very well. Again, how does homeopathy work? I've told you how I think it works--placebo effect. I cannot read minds, so I can't properly tell you how homeopaths think if works.
